I guess you can count me among the people who overrate Fred. With the likes of Trent Edwards, JP Losman, Kyle Orton, and EJ Manuel handing him the ball, Fred didn't see a lot of defenses selling out to stop the pass. Fred played for really bad teams often behind woefully bad OLs and still produced. Somebody can fact-check me, but I think one year Fred led the NFL in yards after contact. He got a lot done without a lot of help.
