I certainly understand the sentiment but I have to ask why aren’t ticket prices sky high in the current stadium? I mean what’s stopping them? Well they legally couldn't do anything until the approval happened. They could have just sat around until June 1st for the ground breaking ceremony. It’s not at all unusual for this sort of thing to occur many weeks after actual construction activity has commenced. For example, with the new stadium there are asphalt parking areas that need to first be removed. That activity is not conducive to having public officials turning dirt with a gold shovel.
