None of the facade has been hung yet so I’m not sure how we can critique it or are you just going by previously released artist renderings?

Regardless of what goes around the outside, it still looks like a big toilet bowl. They should build a new fieldhouse next to it that's shaped like a toilet paper dispenser.

I believe it’s going to be a nice venue with updated amenities and great site lines, but aesthetically, it’s just ugly.
The dipsy-doodle canopy looks like a deflated bicycle tire.  I do wonder if the shadows will play tricks with TV cameras.
For me, the current stadium is more majestic, and just prettier- having a bit of the look of a traditional college football stadium.
For $2.2B they could have built something with a bit more style on the facade.

I agree that $2.2 billion should've gotten us a lot more, but disagree with the rest. Even though it's not what I wanted, it still looks really nice, will have great sight lines, be more comfortable, and just be a fun overall experience. The old stadium has nothing on this.

Wow, shadows may be an enormous issue, especially for 1:00 pm games early in the season.  The old studium rarely had a shadow issue.  Some places, like Indy, Atlanta, and strangely, Minneapolis, have such overbearing shadows that whole portions of the game are almost impossible to watch.  I hope they took this into account in laying out the field, otherwise, people will be very upset after paying a fortune for a PSL.

Geez! Everybody’s an expert on the internet. Believe me, the architects and engineers know EXACTLY what they’re doing. You on the other hand do not. (Sorry, if that sounds harsh)

2.2 billion got WNY exactly what 2.2 billion gets you in WNY.

First of all you're going to have to grease the local politicians for the sudden zoning problems that always come up. Then there's the kickbacks to the carpenters, and if you plan on using any cement in this building I'm sure the teamsters would like to have a little chat with ya, and that'll cost ya. Oh and don't forget a little something for the building inspectors. Then there's long term costs such as waste disposal. I don't know if you're familiar with who runs that business but I assure you it's not the boy scouts.

Agree. As stated previously, I believe it will be a great place to watch a game.

For me, and obviously just my opinion, the exterior design with the floppy canopy is not that pleasing, and I suspect it will appear very dated in a few years as more modern football stadiums are built for NFL teams.

Since when does a stadium need curb appeal?  Highmark doesn’t even have a facade; never heard a complaint about that.

I was wondering the same thing. Is the overhang just gonna flap in the breeze? 😄

Personally I think it looks dated right now.

Look at what the Browns and Titans are building at the same exact time.

Well, isn’t the design based on Tottenham?  I mean, it was a 2016-era design right off the bat. I haven’t looked at the rationale for the designs in Cleveland and Nashville, but I bet the plans are significantly more grandiose than simply replacing the Ralph.

Just ignore that cement truck and black sedan pulling into the job site at 3am.

Uh... no. That makes no sense. There isn't a single default design for a stadium. They can pick & chose what to prioritize. That's like saying all $500k houses in the same area are the exact same square footage, design, layout & size of land.

Whether it's in WNY or Florida, you CHOOSE what you want to spend the money on. You also choose WHEN to spend the money, and they waited so long that they're paying more than Jerry World for significantly less.
