Maybe it’s the same with every stadium but it sure feels like everything we do is such amateur hour.

well, every new stadium is enclosed or has a pavilion roof now even in perfect weather sites, so yes you are 100% absolutely correct.

the NFLworld moves on and WNY stays stuck in the mud.

Wash, Cleveland, JAX, and Chicago, all proposing domes now. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

This is nothing unusual, and certainly not controversial. The term used in the industry is ‘substantial completion’ and signifies the day that the project can be turned over to the Owner for its intended use. I’d have been shocked if it was anything else. The fact that there’ll be crews working around in a brand new facility (that’s only used one day every other week) is not the least bit unexpected.

Exactly.  It’s basically like a “punch list” to be completed.

The lengths to which some will go in this forum to be critical of this organization is something.

I think it's a rule that government contracts aren't allowed to be completed on time, ever.

Apparently, it'll still going to open in July with normal games for the season while construction is finishing.

Grab a hard hat and reflective vest and look for the workers entrance. Free game!
