The irony of all this is how crazy everyone has been about Josh running.

No the real irony is how many in Bills Mafia are weenies.  Who knew the once stout folks of WNY had so declined.  Jump on tables sure, but a little adversity and they crap the bed.

Based on all information-- some good some bad-- my worthless opinion is that Allen has a Grade 1 UCL sprain and may miss a game or two. 50/50 to play Sunday.

This whole huge trend of 'experts' dagnosing injuries from video is ridiculous to me.  All it does is raise wild speculation based on an opinion.  The only way to diagnose the injury is to examine it and do tests.  We will know the extent when the team releases information on the injury.

I just fall back on what my brother and others in sports medicine / physical therapy have said … it’s next to impossible, structurally, to throw that 70 yard pass if he had damage necessitating surgery.

Therefore, we’re likely looking at a anywhere from 0-4 weeks depending on if it’s a minor strain that just needs monitoring or one that requires rest (as in his rookie year).

That’s at least keeping me sane through all this.

Obviously, when (hopefully not) it’s time to support Keenum, most of us will do just that whether at the game or watching it. However to pretend that what we saw over last couple weeks and of Keenum earlier in the year doesn’t matter or is somehow an insulting others is absurd. Even with Allen in we largely just had one superstar WR, bad running game, and a below average line.  I hope someone steps up if Josh is out but the O is in serious trouble without Allen’s arm or legs. Honestly I think we will have to do what the Jets did to us yesterday to be competitive.  Lets Go Buffalo

You seem to have missed my whole premise. None of us have EVER seen Case Keenam with a week of preparation and game planning, not to mention playing with all the starters. You can say what you want and dig your heels in, too. You have no earthly idea what he can do with the opportunity. At best, you are on a soapbox.

Mostly true....but the Bills have a very good roster.  I would expect better than 500 but it depends on the opponents and Keenum a lot.  Dallas won all their games with a nobody backup.  The rest of the team will need to rally around him and the carelessness will have to stop.  The Bills were 9-7 with Tyrod.

I have this weird feeling that we would find out our roster on offense is not as good as we thought if Allen were to be out.

Diggs is our best player outside of Allen. He came from Minnesota, where I would argue he had 2 teammates on offense that were already better than anyone else we have in Thielen and Dalvin Cook.

And then if you look around the league - heck even within our own division (outside of the Pats) - there seems to be a lot more talent on offense outside the QB position.  Yes that does include the Jets (especially if you include Breece Hall). They have a LOT of YOUNG talent, particularly after the last couple drafts.

Amazing!  What is her diagnosis on Tre’ White and his never ending recovery?

My thought was with some rain in the Meadowlands on Sunday they didn't want to expose him to those conditions on turf in his first game back. Although you're going to have to rip the bandaid off sooner or later, and it's rare to have pristine conditions.

Ya think?  Remove one of the best players in the league, at the most important position on the team, and the team does't look as good..? 🤣

That's fine.  I'll trust the professional coaching staff over BobBelcher

Pats are the least talented team in the division.

Garrett Wilson, Tyler Conklin, Braxton Berrios, Denzel Mims, Michael Carter, James Robinson and that OL is not better than we have… and that, led by Zach Wilson, beat us on Sunday.

Miami has the most talent at the skill positions in the division … agreed there.

A point was being made about how Dallas won most of their games without their starting QB.

My point is, that’s comparing apples and oranges.

There are also plenty of examples where teams fall apart after losing their starting QB.

and it’s also pretty obvious that Allen has elevated the game of his teammates since he has been here. Guys like John Brown and Cole Beasley have had a lot more production with Josh Allen than anywhere else in their career.

I kinda hope that the coaches & medical staff all know it's minor, but that they've decided to slow play it to let the players think about their season hanging in the balance. This team lost motivation around this part of the schedule in 2021, and Sunday (and the last quarter or two of GB) should be flashing lights. This Minnesota game could quickly turn into last season's Indianapolis game if their heads are in the clouds.

It sucks to think these guys need reasons to get up for games.

I am surprised this has not been brought up.  I wonder if a loss of Allen for any time would come into play in OBJ's decision on what team to play for.  I would have to assume it would.   Allen needs to play to have any shot at OBJ.  Lets hope it is minor, we need to win this week regardless even with Keenum and Allen's injury cannot keep him off the field long  to stay in this OBJ discussion.  Based on Davis and our slot's recent  play I think we need him.

At this point, any news other than Tommy John surgery and I would be ecstatic. I just wanted to hear that eliminated as an option as soon as possible.

Tommy John surgery for an NFL QB is not near the recovery time that it is for an MLB pitcher. In fact, if Allen would have to have it, he would miss this season which would suck but would be back at full strength next Fall.

Jake Delhomme had TJ surgery years ago and said he felt as good as new in 6 months and played the next season and led the Panthers to a 12-4 record.

Jets, when healthy, at the skill positions outside QB you’ve got:

WR- Garrett Wilson, Denzel Mims, Elijah Moore, Corey Davis (definitely a lot of young and developing talent here)

RB- Breece Hall, Carter, Robinson (Hall looked like the offensive ROY prior to ACL injury. In fairness this was also before Kenneth Walker’s stock took off though, but he could’ve taken one of those runs to the house against us on Sunday IMO)

TE- Yeah.. not so good.

But there is definitely a lot of sneaky young talent on that offense and learning to win with it now, they’re learning to involve Garrett Wilson more in recent weeks, and I think it can only get better.

Oh, when healthy.. I like their talent … but they had no Hall or Davis against us, and that OL is decimated.
