That weak arm is doing everything it’s being asked to do so far this season. Weak arm or not, Tua is getting the ball to the right people, on time, and is consistently moving the ball downfield.

He's done that vs the lions and in one quarter vs the Ravens lmao. He's looked awful the majority of the season.

He still has games in weather and games against heavy pass rush teams.  The Dolphins will most likely play on the road if they make the playoffs and that means games in January.

Good move for Miami.  They like to blitz alot and Chubb shines blitzing.  We all like to mock Miami and Tua but can't really deny they are playing well.  That team is built well and as much as their coach is a dork, he is doing a good job.  I still think Tua is limited.  Their whole offense is crossing routes and mostly middle of the field passes.  Its working for them but I think eventually it will be shut down by good defenses.  At this point though, they are playing on fire.

just my opinion.

That’s all well and good and I’ll hope the bad weather challenges him, especially when we see them again.

But I can’t pretend he isn’t playing great for them so far this season. It’s as if we all just want to ignore what he’s done so far.

They are working on a long term extension for him per reports, so not a half season rental most likely.

It seems wild. A first and change for a guy that has not played a full year in 4 seasons and has averaged 5 sacks per year. That includes a 12 sack rookie season.

Maybe this works out for Miami, but I wouldn't even know where to begin with compensation. They gave up a first so they need him for more than 8 games to get any "value".  He just sort of screams a 1-2 year prove it deal on the cheap to get his head and game back right. I certainly wouldn't give up a first round pick for that.

To me, it's Hill and Waddle making the most of what they're being thrown, rather than the majority of balls being on point. Sunday was ridiculous; the Lions decided they didn't need to cover either.

But maybe I'm looking through Bills-tinted spectacles.

Well, I haven’t watched his every game so I can only comment on what I’ve actually seen and that hasn’t been very much poor play when I’ve watched him. I’m not saying he’s a first ballot HOFer, just that he’s looked better when I’ve watched him than the weak armed, bad QB I read about in these parts.

He’s the same qb he’s always been, they just gave him one of the best receivers in the game. If you watch closely, his completions are wildly inaccurate but he benefits from speedy wide open receivers. Against good defenses in the playoffs we’ll see how far that takes them. On paper they are a very scary team at the moment, but he is still flawed.
