I’m so curious with what you have in your fridge now!!!

With any luck we could turn this into a recipe thread. :)

I think that would be a lot more fun than having strong reactions and opinions about things we know very little about.

I bet he’s got Dijon mustard, which you can whip into a tasty vinaigrette!

When is a snap judgement and execution ever a good idea?

"Wait and see" is always the correct approach. If it turns out he was in the wrong, he'll be cut. If he is innocent, the Bills will keep him.

Any other outcome is just stupid. It's mob mentality. It's frontier "justice". If waiting for the fact to come out is too hard for you, go root for another team.

These were the same people calling for Ed Oliver to be cut. What happened with him?

If Araiza is guilty, the facts will come out and he will face justice. Allow the process of justice to happen.

Dude, this is supposed to be the season. Drama free and everyone feels good. It’s a punter. I know Buffalo loves punters but it’s such an easy distraction to get rid of.

if he is really “innocent,” he will get a job. But to have the headache of a punter potentially being a rapist seems like a really easy thing to take care of.

Let's find the nearest tree and hang him right now! Due process be damned!

Due process is for courts. This is about the team. He is a distraction and a PUNTER. A great punter is worth very little on a high scoring team like the Bills.

According to the suit, police helped the teen call the other players and Araiza to confirm the incident. During the taped phone call, Araiza told the young woman that he had tested positive for chlamydia, and asked her to get tested.

He then said, “So you know what to get tested for Ok, that makes me feel a bit better.”

Disregard, someone posted and clarified.

Shiet, keeping up with this post is too much.  Time to drink my afternoon coffee and get ready for the game.

We need to cut this guy. Can't believe the Bills knew about this, maybe even before the draft. We are not Cleveland, this reflects on our Buffalo community. We are better than this. If he proves his innocence, he will get another shot in the NFL....but from what i read there is some evidence there.

You read an article. You must be an expert on the law and know exactly what happened, right?

Unless she is lying about talking with the police, which should be easy to prove. That would be a wild thing to lie about and definitely put her in legal trouble.

I’m not calling her a liar.
I really feel for this kid cause I do believe she was raped.
That said though, from my understanding of our limited information.. The phone call part is only what she remembers from the day the police and her made the calls.
It’s really easy to not remember word for word exactly what was said.

Dude.  People have sex at college parties.  Most of those people are intoxicated, and some are under age.  It happens.

It is currently 3:11 on a Friday afternoon.  I am very confident that sometime in the next 12 hours, at least one minor will have sex with a student enrolled at my university.  Now, in my state the age of consent is 16, which is a lot more reasonable than 18, so there will not be any legal repercussions from any of this.  But morally it is the exact same thing, just in a different jurisdiction.

I did a lot in college. Had a ton of fun. But I never had sex with a high school while I had a std and then passed her off to my homies.  If you think that is normal behavior, we live in different world.

He admitted to the police that he had sex with her! So our best hope is he didn’t physically rape an underage girl!

it’s wild that scumbags can do terrible things and somehow people will defend them because the media lies!!!

Sometimes people even go so far as to create screen names of players that sexually assaulted 17 year olds!  Disgusting!

*Someone with the screen name C. Biscuit97 might want to tone down the judgement or google Cornelius Bennet sexual assualt.

Yeah LITERALLY NOTHING is gained by jumping to mob outrage and lynching.  Everyone who calls for him to be cut even if innocent because of "distraction" deserves to have false rape charges laid against them to see if their tune suddenly changes about if you should wait for facts first before losing your livelihood and reputation.

For those of you who live in New York, your age of consent is 17.  It would have been perfectly legal for Matt Araiza to have sex with the Jane Doe in his Buffalo apartment.

True, but what type of guy with an STD has sex with a girl without telling her before it. A low character guy. Get rid of this clown.

As an organization you probably do not want to send the message to your team that "we are all family! Unless things get uncomfortable, in which case we'll sacrifice you to satisfy the media at the drop of a hat.  Sooooo don't get accused. K thanks."

"POTENTIALLY " is the key.

Afford him the same rights you would want for yourself or your son,for example.

The NFL likely not getting involved because the incident didnt happen on their watch.

The football season is what matters to you in this? I find principles of innocence and justice to be more important, even if it is a distraction for the team. It is WRONG to fire someone without going through the proper steps to ensure that there is actual cause for it. To do that, you have to wait for the facts to come out.

Nail on the head. The nfl isn’t equal. God forbid this was Allen, I’m sure the response would be different. It’s why Beasley doesn’t have a job. You can’t be a distraction if you are replaceable. A punter is certainly replaceable.

This off-season felt like we won the SB. I don’t want anything messing up feeling good about this season. I was excited for the Punt God but I’m very good with moving on from him.
