Tough, tough loss.

I hope Frazier gets a job I would love the 3rd round draft picks and frankly we need better coaching on defense.

Wouldn't bother me to see Daboll gone to.  Sure the Bills got 36 points and over 400 yards on offense but Daboll squandered THREE possessions with his bizarre decision to go heavy and run Singleterry taking the ball out of Allen's hands.

And McD deserves criticism for not kicking the ball in the field of play to try to steal a few seconds at the end.

I do believe this season was like our 1989 season and the future is very bright for this team.  IMO we have the best QB in the NFL. Allen's rise in the playoffs was the last thing we needed to see from him. TWO game winning drives in the last couple of minutes is more then you can ask any QB to do. Allen is the real deal and he will lead this team to multiple Super Bowl wins.

As I said earlier, I'm sure the same was said of Kelly.

So many people blaming the defense. Their defense is JUST as bad and they’re moving on to the AFCC. It’s an offense fueled league and sometimes you win the coin toss.

Exactly.  Chris Simms said that was the best game he'd ever seen.  It was a heavyweight slugfest with a flurry of punches and counterpunches at the end.  It sucks that we lost the coin toss because the way Josh was playing, damn good chance we'd have got our TD first to seal it.  If that had happened, would it have been appropriate for KC fans to say that all the KC coaches should be fired, and that their defense sucked?  Why - these were the two best teams left standing in the playoffs.  They went toe to toe.  It was a game for the ages.  No shame.

Tell me about Epenesa, Rousseau and the Bills young edge rushers. They were drafted to pressure Mahomes and sadly they failed. The same scenario as last year with Hill running wild through our secondary and Kelce open with the game on the line.  We gave up 17pts a game in the regular season and 36 when it counted.

Epanesa is wasted space. The others are developing and have potential. Look at Oliver now. He is playing much better and it took him a couple of years to develop.

They need to get someone in FA who can sack the QB ***** the draft

Don't care how they get a pass rusher.  Just get one.  Addison was not even on the stat sheet for this game and yet I saw him out there falling on his face several times. Addison and Hughes our two most expensive DE's were basically non existent.

Early in the game they got pressure but were being idiots not containing him - lunging all over the place - they did better later but the whole D was getting gassed later

Highly probably both will be gone - along with aging Beasely.

Maybe not leaving pro bowl tight ends wide open with 8 seconds left? Defensive play calling along with the decision to kick it deep instead of eating clock cost us this game. It's that simple.

1. The number 1 Bills D couldn't stop a runny nose all night. The number 16 Chiefs D got in Josh's face all night

2. The 4th and inches decision to punt was a gutless one and also put our tired D back on the field who just spent 8 minutes before that 3 and out

3. With 13 seconds left and up by 3 we should have squib kicked the kick-off which would have chewed up 4-5 seconds.

4. We only had to rush with 2 or 3 on the opening play of the final Chiefs drive and drop 8 or 9 in coverage. Mahomes probably doesn't make the play, leaving only a hail mary as their last available option

5. The failure to take a time out and give our D a rest in OT was mind boggling.

In summary, this one is on the D and in particular - the coaches.

The stupidity of NFL rules. Defenses were exhausted to get the ball first is a ridiculous advantage.

It was very similar to the Pats victory over KC in 2018 and the Pats OT victory over the Falcons in the SB. In both cases and tonight, the defense had nothing left and was gassed so the coin toss wins the game.  You would think the NFL would change the OT rules but they are more conservative about rule changes than the Catholic church.
