He can't be anywhere close to game shape. This doesn't even take into account the facts that he appeared to have some animosity towards the team after his release and he has had trouble sticking onto anyone else's roster. We do need the O line to play their best game of the year (somehow) and the receivers (anyone catching the ball, not just WRs) to man up and play a really good game too. I'm thankful for what he did for our team but to think a guy who couldn't beat out Zay Jones or last long on the Jags practice squad could actually help this team is absolutely ridiculous. You've got 5 receivers (not named Davis or Beasley) who are actually on the team and better options than a lost-a-few-steps Brown. The playbook is undoubtedly different now than it was when he was here. And he bashed the front office on the way out. It's not gonna happen. Shovel pass to Knox in motion. Then just go heavy diggs and Knox in the passing game. Utilize mck on some end around and quick screens. They just can’t be plain vanilla like last time.
