Big Turk
Besides the fact this dude is just meh with no arm talent, the dude is always getting hurt and seems fragile. Not a good combo for a long term franchise QB Edited November 7, 2021 by Big Turk 1

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Didn't want to start a new thread for this 1/2 hour before game time but just saw this: Tua is out today with a broken finger suffered in Q2 against Bills. Took him out twice this season!

May Day 10
I feel bad for him. He has gotten heap of bad luck from the moment he had the hip injury.
Doc
Thanks for the tip. I was going to take them in the survivor pool I’m in. But I decided against it.
BuffaloBillyG
Well if he was "normal handed" and had a broken finger on his left hand it wouldn't matter, would it? But no, he just HAD to try and be different. Another reason to say "NO" to left handed QBs.

Yeah, if he broke it in the second quarter of the Bills and played the rest of the game, then he showed some toughness.

Hapless Bills Fan
That was just weird. As was said during the game, if Tua is healthy enough to be a capable backup, wouldn't he be healthy enough to start? Kudos to him that he played and got them the touches they needed to get for the W, but Man! Watching those rainbows he puts up and some of the passes he throws, how the hell is he not intercepted more often?
JohnNord
Tua ended up getting the win but he looked very shaky. He nearly fumbled and allowed Baltimore to take control of the game. He was also very lucky to take advantage of a breakdown that resulted in wide open Gaskin. Tua is a dude that’s easy to like but he’s a game manager at QB at his best

Greg S
Either the Fins eventually trade for Watson or draft their next "potential" franchise QB. The Jets moved on from Darnold and I can see the Fins do the same with Tua. Edited November 12, 2021 by Greg S

There were a couple he went to the end zone with that I was convinced would be INT'd during the 30 minutes the ball was in the air

I didn’t come away from this game being overly impressed with Tua. Edited November 12, 2021 by JohnNord
What a Tuel
stuck in qb hell this week with Burrow on bye. Pick up Tua. They tell me he won't start. Pick up Brissett, as he starts and someone is gonna score a few points on this Ravens pass d. Then Tua just randomly comes into the game. Like wtf, if he was healthy enough to start, why did you wait?

But anything short of looking like Dan Marino the rest of the season I'm sure Miami has Houston on speed dial and will be revisiting the Watson trade. Then when it was a close game, let Tua look good and get the credit. Sucks to be Jacoby Brissett

He was seen on TV on the sideline simulating dropbacks and footwork, he gave the trainer and coach a thumbs-up, he grabbed his helmet and started for the field and was called back. I saw a 50/50 ball and a 52 yard pass to Gaskin on a busted play.

Sucks to be Jacoby Brissett There’s no chance Miami goes to that great of a length to protect the psyche of Tua - who they have been actively trying to replace for almost a year. Flores started Brissett because he thought he gave Miami the best to chance to win. He really wasn’t playing well and was holding onto the ball for a long time. The Miami defense was playing great and keeping Baltimore off the score board. So after an injury to an already struggling QB, Flores made the switch to Tua because he thought he’d give them a better chance to win. Im surprised at some of the reactions to Tua here. I didn’t think he played particularly well. But he didn’t make mistakes which is good enough when the Miami defense is playing that well.
