I would have to assume that if he showed signs of impairment at the scene that police would’ve secured his blood at the hospital to determine its drug or alcohol content. Somehow it takes months to get results back and complete an investigation in MO when the Superbowl winning HC's son is involved, but 6-7 hrs is enough in Nevada. The hospital typically wouldn’t be in charge of doing the test. The investigating agency likely has its own forensic lab that will handle it. I agree, my point is to compare the lengthy investigation and reluctance to discuss charges in KC vs. hearing the very next day that DUI resulting in death charges are expected against Ruggs. It seems rushed. It could be the difference between states and cities of course. Perhaps LV has learned to handle DUI investigations more expeditiously.
