You live on another planet I guess.  Most creative people lean left.  Comedians, actors, anything artistic.   Your planet must be ruled by Jeff Foxworthy and Kid Rock.

Don’t forget Ted Nugent!

Jeez. He’s in really bad shape. It’s as if he drunk on his own delusions of himself. Really weird stuff. Dude needs to get off social media.

He can't though. DeSantis' brand is all MAGA, all culture war, all the time. That's also Trump's brand, and Trump's way better at it.

Ron's turning into just another Ivy League suit to be schooled by Trump. He's had years to figure out how to beat the guy, and so far he's got nothing.

The debates are where things will shake out.  Not to mention the Dems are doing their best remove Trump from the race.

Wait?  LOL!  If they can't jail him now, they're never going to be able to do it.

If the choice is jail or the presidency, I know which I choose...there is some question about self pardons

LOL!  "Mr. Trump, you've been convicted of X.  Your choices are jail or the Presidency."  Yup, I'm sure that's how sentencing will go...

Yes, that's going to be the choice for voters, hopefully.  He won't be in jail before the election imo.  You think he will?  Do you understand what self pardoning means?

So you're predicting he'll win the Presidency?

Trump won't debate unless he absolutely needs to, and nobody can force him to do a debate if he doesn't want to. If DeSantis is banking on that...

... Can you imagine a fencepost like DeSantis holding his own against Chris Christie and Trump at the same time?

That and even if Trump is convicted, and he ***** should be, he still wouldn't be barred from office.

Yeah he does.  If he doesn't, they'll say he's afraid.

And Chris Chritie?  LOL!  The dude is a schlub who hasn't been in government in 6 years when the debates roll around.

First of all, I'm not sure why you'd want him to be the candidate.  No one wants demented Joke and cackling Kammy again.  You'd be taking a yuge risk he could be President again.

As for the 1-D chess you're playing, how does he "self pardon" if he doesn't become President?

He won't care if he's still up by 20. Neither will his voters

He's going to meet the debate requirements. He's brash, loud, quick witted, crude  and sarcastic. Exactly the verbal style that flusters DeSantis.

I'm not saying DeSantis is a bad politician. But so far he's a wet fart of a presidential candidate. He's not ready for the fight. Which is...concerning... for somebody who is ex Military from Harvard Law.

So now he gets to show us his resilience and adaptability. Or he can tread water and get beat.

Based on what?

And yeah he will care when everyone, especially DeSantis, is calling him a ***** for ducking him in the debates.

Sure you do .. of course ! If this were true, we wouldn’t be seeing these politically driven investigations and now prosecutions. Rule of law, you say ? Two words … Joe Biden. So no, that’s not it. Seems an awful lot of effort is being devoted to Trump and preventing him from running. If they want him to be the nominee, just do nothing and defeat him handily in the general. Easy - peasy , right ?

Never Back Down, the pro-DeSantis super PAC, brought in a staggering $130 million since launching in March

Trump's team reported on Wednesday that the former president's campaign and Save America, his political action committee, together brought in over $35 million between April and June in the second quarter of political fundraising.

DeSantis raised the $20 million fundraising haul in less than half the time, beginning with his campaign launch in late May. Nearly half of the governor's haul - $8.2 million - came in the first 24 hours after DeSantis declared his candidacy, his team announced in late May.

The DeSantis campaign highlighted in a release shared first with Fox News that their haul was the "largest first-quarter filing from any non-incumbent Republican candidate in more than a decade."

And they added that it "bests the $18.3 million former president and quasi-incumbent Donald Trump's campaign raised during his first two fundraising quarters as a candidate ($3.8 in Q4 2022 and $14.5 in Q1 2023)."

The Trump campaign and its allied fundraising committees brought in $9.5 million from the former president's mid-November launch through the end of last year and nearly $19 million during the January-March first quarter of fundraising.

If true, that's massive.

They’ll spin this as bad - it isn’t.

First it’s only 315 people polled.

And Trump is still the Republican incumbent.  With as we know a loyal base.

I don’t expect any Trump voter - voted Trump - to actually tell a pollster someone else.

As the 2nd poll shows the results aren’t any disapproval of DeSantis.  It’s pure Trump loyalty.

It’s only July.

Worth noting

Meanwhile….

I just don't see where the votes are going to come from for DeSantis against Trump. There are so many Trump voters within the Conservative population who refuse to even listen about anyone else. By then, they'll have had their minds made up already for almost a decade.

Yup.  MAGA gonna lose because of its success among the cult.  Live by the sword, die by the sword.
