2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 Ran 4.44, not quite as fast as I hoped. But it would be nice to have a speedy WR ready for an expanded role by 2022. Speed is an easy way to take attention away from guys like Diggs/Beasley. Burst and ball-tracking made him an excellent deep threat in college. Joe Marino says the catch is he needs to expand route tree and add functional strength, both of which he can take his rookie year to work on. He does not understand why there is not more talk about him but said there were other people in the scouting world that liked him too. So, where is he available? Maybe he's a similar draft value to Gabriel Davis. I like the idea of a trade down that gets them 5 in the first three rounds. It's easier to get good prospects at WR, CB, DE, OT and S or IDL that can make the roster and contribute over the next 4 years after Josh gets his megadeal. Buffalo Junction Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 Brown would be a great fit, especially as a guy to learn for a year under Diggs and Sanders. He’s fast although not a pure burner, but the kid can vary speed on deep routes to twist DBs. He has a knack for throttling up and down to set up a DB before high pointing the ball. He’s also not afraid to truck a safety to get a first down. Needs to work on routes, but he’s talented. I also think if you're drafting for 2022 and beyond, and also recognizing that WR isn't as immediate or glaring of a need, I think you can get away with drafting more developmental types later in the draft. Seth Williams and Josh Imatorbhebhe (both probably a little higher than the rest), Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Jonathan Adams, Tamarrion Terry, Jalen Camp and Mike Strachan are all guys who would be really intriguing in the 5th or 6th rd... 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the other hand, Chris Simms has him as WR 3, and views him as in the same category as Chase and Devonte Smith. Based on his track record, I’d side with Simms’s analysis. I have also said don’t be surprised if the Bills grab a WR at 30.... but I still think they will lean defense, DE.
