He creates zero separation vs man coverage. The fumble and the lack of effort vs the Pats was the cherry on top. Can't trust this bad rookie in playoff games. Half of the problem is that we are so used to second guessing moves, we might not see the bit that is right in front of us. If the bills are left with him all of a sudden as WR2 I think the whole passing game will be negatively impacted. He is left 1on1 the whole game. Nobody is worried about Davis. Davis puts up numbers simply because he plays so many snaps in an elite Passing Offense. Any WR left 1on1 as often as Davis in THIS particular offense is going to put up some numbers. Davis just doesn't do much on the outside. All his damage is done when he can play from the slot and get lost with a crowd of people and end up wide open. And now add a different element of Speed in the slot. I really like it. He’s produced when called upon and exceeded expectations. You can’t ask much more from a 4th round rookie. Adding veteran depth is never a bad idea.
