Yep I think (i might be off a day or two) the window for reactivation is 27th of October.  Yep Clock started on 7th.  So that means by the 27th he needs to be activated (day 1 being 7th)

https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/bills-guard-feliciano-returns-to-practice-wallace-to-ir-white-roberts-ford-do-not-practice/article_7a5b00f2-08ba-11eb-b421-ff1e040799a0.html

Now if it doesnt happen I dont know the next steps, does he have to go back to IR for 3 weeks minimum.

The 21 day rule remains the same as a normal season... if they are not activated in 21 days then the player is ineligible to return the rest of the season.

Thanks for the link.  As to what happens, I don't know for sure.  I've never remembering that happening before.

Going back for 3 weeks or IR'd for the rest of the season?

I'll try to look that up but it seems almost sure he is activated.

Someone has to get cut too.  Seems it would be a DL.

Well I know there is no Season long IR this year.  So I think best guess is if they dont activate he is on the shelf at least for another 3 weeks I think.

Is there confirmation on that?  Because there is NO season long IR this year, Everyone can return from IR this year

The only changes they made were shortening IR to 3 weeks and unlimited number of players can return.

Quote

Injured reserve

COVID-19 rule: In 2020, a player going on injured reserve is allowed to return after missing only three weeks, and teams may return an unlimited number of players from injured reserve throughout the year. In a normal year, a player can't return from injured reserve unless he has missed at least six weeks' worth of practice and eight weeks' worth of games, and teams are limited to two players per year that they can return from injured reserve.

This year, a player on injured reserve can return to practice after three weeks. Once a team activates a player from injured reserve, it has 21 days to return him to the active roster. Reserve/COVID-19 is separate than injured reserve. Players on that list may return whenever they clear the testing protocol.

Thats it.

Last season Scott would be correct.  Ineligible for the rest of the season (that's what I thought).

Everything I just read says that but nothing about the changes to this Covid season so..................?

EDIT:  Scott has the answer.

Yes and says has unlimited returns.  There is nothing in there that says after the 21 days they are don for the season.  I think what that does say is after the 21 days they go back on IR, meaning the 3 week clock starts again.

Although I do see how one can say it might just be 3 more weeks.  You are correct that it is unclarified.  Its because its unclarified I would assume it hasnt changed.

Understand your stance, but I also think the Unchanged language to me just reverts them back to IR.  So with a No Season Ending IR, I think the 3 week clock starts again.  Because actually really easy to get around.  Put him back on IR for a Shoulder, boom different designation now 3 weeks.  I have asked many of the reporters and to date no-one has really been able to clarify, I think because it hasnt happened yet is all.

I would say thats possible.  I certainly can't argue that its not.  Who knows with the NFL and their shallow grey area writing on everything.

Someone call into WGR when Chris Brown is on and ask lol.

I'm going with he's activated Saturday and someone gets cut.

The alternative is just too much right now!

I think that is what happens as well.  Activate him and Lacey is Cut (If Milano is healthy) and Lacey back to the PS

Other Options include Knox or Ford to IR (Depending on injury severity at the end of the week)

Even Brown to IR (he needs to get healthy) but I doubt they do that

Just let Brown Sit for this week.  Need him to get healthy.  Also think look at sitting Tre as well (he also needs to get healthy).  I think we should be able to handle the Jets either way

What's up with Levi Wallace?  When did he go on IR, and when is he eligible to come off?

Prayers for Tre' Day and Norman.....

? what's up with Kroft?  I saw him on IR as "not injury"

Levi is eligible to return week 8.

kroft’s wife posted that she was due the week of the titans game so my guess is she finally had the baby and he missed practice

I think we can almost sit everyone and still win. 😃

All jokes aside, I agree about Brown and Trey (Milano, as well): they should sit.

Jets ...wow, Id be so worried if I was Darnold's agent. They are fire selling players, then likely rushing the QB back to play, while they are 0-6. I could see the kid ruining his career by throwing himself into a fire.

Really skeptical of Gase, the staff and any decision they make. He's lost it. They'd ruin players for their own sake.

It may not be Gase but rather the GM who wants him out there. He still needs to evaluate him, if he’s healthy he should play. I think their offense could look decent with all 3 top WRs, Becton back at LT maybe Perine can add something. Bills fans will hate it but this is probably going to be a game that won’t erase all the negativity. We have a ton of injuries.

Going to be honest, I am very worried about the game.  The Jets are healthy, are at home, and the Bills have injuries to major players on all levels of their team.  The likelihood the Jets go 0-16 is low, and the Bills have looked flat the last few weeks.

I’m not worried at all. We either smack the ***** out of them, or my emotional and time investment Over the next ten weeks gets freed up a nice bit.

I agree.

When I look at the Jets right now, I see a team that is finally getting healthy on offense. Winless teams are always more desperate and cannot be counted out, and surely their players read the point spread and all the negative stuff written about them.

We're playing in their house, with an injury depleted roster that is struggling to find itself. The offense has not been the same since John Brown got hurt. The defense may be without its top three corners and its best linebacker.

Anyone counting this as a sure win is, in my estimation, off base. And if the Bills DO win, I don't expect it to be the blowout, no-doubt-about-it, "get right game" that many fans seem to want.

Well lets hope they smack it out of them, because unless you're skier there isnt a whole hell of a lot to do on Sundays in Western NY when its 30 degrees and lower.

I assume it's the Bills you mean?  There are two teams being discussed in this thread.

Yes the Bills...

quinton Spain liked this tweet from Cody Ford. They just don’t seem like a cohesive group at the moment.

I wonder when we will get a Bills team that is truly top 2 or 3 in the conference. How many more years of rebuilding does this regime need exactly?

I know these things take time but look at the titans. Mcd will be entering his 5th year next season. If he can’t turn this team into a top 3 team in the conference is he really the right guy long term ?

...LMAO Yolo...since when?.......better yet, for how long??..........

Just a feeling I get watching them play and little stuff like the tweets from Spain, this one from Ford, really uncharacteristic lack of discipline and composure with the late hits out of bounds by Tre and Poyer. These are supposed to be the leaders. They look like a totally different team than we saw in Vegas. A 2 week hangover is a bit much even from Vegas. Something just feels real off to me.

YIKES.  I hope he means something else than the guards/center "picking sides".

That would be hella dirty laundry to throw out of the locker room.

Bad look by Cody Ford if so.

...DEAD ON as usual my friend...something is NOT passing the smell test....why does McD have to take over the D play calling if Frazier is competent?........hell, throw caution to the wind and bring in Wade with LeBeau as a consultant......sorry I hit my head......

We did see a lack of composure by Josh during the Rams game and he acknowledged it and has got it together since.

Have there been more tweets from Spain other than the deleted "if you knew the reason" thing?
