Amazing how he got that deal.  He was out completely in 2017.

That extension was a bust. He made 20 mill for one catch and -4 yards

Bust for who (not Quincy or his agent :)).. if I were a WR I would have Quincy's agent on speed dial .. and if I were Quincy I would wash the agent's car once per month for free for life .. just to show my appreciation. His game did not warrant that kind of a contract at all.

I’ll always remember him unfondly for undressing our secondary that one Thursday night .. can’t remember the year but it was the day before Rex fired Roman. but yeah enunwa needs to retire

2016 Thursday night home opener. Enunwa abused Darby the entire game

I went to do some research - and man they are bad at drafting WRs.

Quincy was a good player.  If his career is over, it is because of injury issues.  You don't want to mess with vertebrae problems in your neck.  It's a good way to end up as a quadriplegic.

This was around the time some on the board were calling Rex's defense "antiquated" and others were vehemently disagreeing and pointing out what a lazy and terrible player Gilmore had become and how things would improve once Reggie Ragland and Adolphus Washington got more experience.

He made about 15 million dollars in his career - less taxes and 401k.  Probably gets free care for his injury for as long as he needs it.  Played long enough to get a pension once he hits 55, and if he's smart he took advantage of the 401k match that they do.  Without even getting into wealth management he should be set up to be OK.

After watching that game

That game is specifically called out in his Wikipedia pro career bio. It might have been Stephon’s most forgettable appearance.

After watching that game my buddy picked him up in fantasy.

We both thought they could potentially have a star on their hands.

Mims needs a lot of work. Talented guy but not exactly nfl ready

Lot of the raw athleticism.  But he's not a great route runner... which means in an adam gase offense he's going to be running a lot of go routes.

Metcalf was similarly slow out of breaks, but was also bigger and faster it seems.  Russell wilson playing QB certainly helps there.

I remember some fun conversations at the start of the 2019 season about how the Jets receivers were light-years ahead of the Bills. And this was a bunch of BILLS fans saying that.

And yet, here we are.

Another shrewd move to excite little green men

Did anyone else see the Jets fan today? (new gif potential?) (reps ...3

That guy came over to BS with my buddy and me at a game we went to at MetLife a couple years ago. It was the season finale after Rex was fired. He and every other Jets fan we talked to that day wanted to know if we were happy to see Rex go.

Such a "dedicated" fan. Someone posted a video the other day from a couple of seasons ago where he couldn't even name 5 players on the Jets roster. I'm not even sure he knew 1.   (other Jets "fans" couldn't do it either). I would imagine most of us here could name at least 5 players on our opponents teams, and probably half the roster or more on the Bills.

As far as Enunwa goes.  He is a pretty talented player, too bad for him that he couldn't stay healthy. Glad he's got some $$ to fall back on.
