I believe the numbers show that people are indeed getting vaccinated at unprecedented numbers. Sure, there’ll be some who don’t but that’s true for all vaccinations...and I’m not going to yell at or throw shame at people who don’t. You never know what conditions they may have or life experience they’ve gone through. One of the best things about this particular vaccine is that it’s bipartisan. It was developed under Trump and dispensed under Biden...so I’m hoping it takes some of the politics out of it...or at least it should!

A joint press conference saying we both agree it’s safe and vital that everyone takes the vaccine would be ideal.

Yea we know this.  That's great.  Awesome.  I guess.

But when did this become about herd immunity and vaccinate all kids?

How is anyone good with the 60000000 goal post moves, lying, and the suffering our kids will continue to endure in blue states still by September of this year.

What do you want us to do about it?

This where we differ slightly. One of the reasons why vaccines take a long time to come to market is because of the long term trials they undergo. While the Covid vaccines are certainly ‘vital’, we don’t really know if they are ‘safe’ in the long term. They simply haven’t been tested for that. This is one reason why I believe they should be given to the most vulnerable Senior population. There’s no concern over pregnancy birth defects etc in that population while at the same time there are the most at risk from Covid fatality.

What raises your concerns about pregnancy and birth defects when it comes to these vaccines?

I'm merely asking the questions that hopefully prompt people that care to start demanding answers from the people that don't.

I am not concerned for myself. I'm an old guy. But if you know anything about how these things are tested, like all medications, etc. one of the tests is to see if it will alter anything in child-bearing age women, and what impact the introduction of any of this would have on an unborn child.  This is just an example of why these things take long to come to market.  That, and the chance that you'll grow a third eyeball some years in the future (kidding).  They decided they couldn't wait, and the risk of doing nothing was greater.

The small risk of long term possible unforeseen side effects should not scare people from getting the vaccine.  I want packed stands for Bills games.  Damn it.

I may not be vaccinated by then.  You f’ers keep your hands to yourself, no jubilant cheering and murmur like you’re in church.

The Sabres were on national television last night so I watched most of the game. I think it was maybe the second game I’ve seen all season. It looked to me like someone installed one of those Covid plexiglass shields across the opponents goal mouth! That is one terrible hockey team...unwatchable.

The worst part is they’re terrible and they’re not trying to be bad like the tank years.

Why is Biden releasing thousands of Covid-positive migrants into the country?

American Thinker, by Patricia McCarthy

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/03/why_is_biden_releasing_thousands_of_covidpositive_migrants_into_the_country.html

The answer to that question may be in his absurd speech on Thursday when he said “we may have to reinstate the lockdown restrictions” if… If what? What if the migrants the Biden Administration is allowing to come across the southern border without being tested, even if showing symptoms, then given bus tickets to any American city they hope to reach, is a grand plan to spread this flu throughout the country again in order to reinstate all the unconstitutional restrictions to which millions of Americans willingly submitted? Chances are that the powers that be never dreamed so many people would give up their freedom  to work, shop, eat, go to movies, vacation, have their kids in school, etc. without a fuss… but they did.

Yes it does.

I think people are underestimating the importance of the Southern Ontario market.

The need to spend money at our local establishments that will soon be dead---why would you ever run one in a deep blue state and city in a Covid world (that's never going away people are completely clueless about how this plays out)

Not bc its how it should play out....but because it's what they are going to do.

How do you think this border situation is going to work?  Pegula knows all this.  That's why he's slowly getting out of downtown.  716 first.  Hope the Harbor Center makes it.  Going to need a lot of ppp.

And btw.....this is absolutely going to impact the Bills just not as much.

Biden’s ‘Rescue Plan’ Will Sic the IRS on Anyone Who Earns $600 in the Gig Economy:

What does this have to do with the pandemic?

Nothing.

https://reason.com/2021/03/12/bidens-rescue-plan-will-sic-the-irs-on-anyone-who-earns-600-in-the-gig-economy/

Uber drivers, Etsy sellers, and others who earn income through the gig economy could get a nasty surprise from the $1.9 trillion emergency spending bill signed by President Joe Biden on Thursday.

Buried inside the 600-page bill that's ostensibly meant to provide pandemic relief is a provision requiring gig economy platforms to report information to the IRS about all users who earn at least $600 in a year. Previously, platforms were only required to provide the IRS with information on users who made at least 200 transactions or earned at least $2,000.

The tightening of the reporting requirements means a lot more paperwork and tax compliance requirements for platforms. It also means more tax headaches for anyone who might use those platforms to earn a little extra cash.

It's sad she had to clarify her Tweet by deliberately conflating the two to make it appear she supported the widely popular relief bill but in reality she is referring to a nothing burger.

Fauci warns of another COVID-19 surge, urges Trump to tell supporters to be vaccinated

Asked by Wallace what could be done to combat vaccine skepticism in the U.S., particularly among Republicans, Fauci urged Trump to tell his supporters to get vaccinated.

"It would be very helpful for the effort for that to happen. I’m very surprised by the number of Republicans who say they won’t get vaccinated," he said.

"I think it would make all the difference in the world" if Trump were to express support for vaccines, Fauci said. "He’s a widely popular person among Republicans."

"I just don’t get it, Chris, why they don’t want to get vaccinated," he added.

During a separate appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press," Fauci said it's "disturbing" that Trump voters are choosing to not get vaccinated.

"We've got to dissociate political persuasion from commonsense, no-brainer public health things," he said.

"[Vaccines have] rescued us from smallpox, from polio, from measles," he added. "What is the problem here?"

The problem is that there is an assumption being made by China's top stooge in the deep........I'm sorry the top epidemiologist in DC that Republicans need to get vaccinated, immediately makes an already ugly politicized disaster that this is even worse, by being even more f....ing divisive

He's garbage.  A total POS.

The response to China's top media stooge in America's absolutely ridiculous question (as we approach 100 million shots) about Trump voters and vaccines, after all that we've let happen and endured is a truly---how freaking dare that clown btw---its another pathetic example...another one....of what a sham this.

He has no business asking that and this fraud's response should have been "this isn't political you **s hole the American people are doing a truly great job and we're almost at the end until I (because he's president of the world) move the goal posts again."

What assumption are you talking about?

It is a fact that Republicans, particularly white men, are the most skeptical of this vaccine.  People often follow leaders.  Trump is THE leader for that subset of the population.  Had he endorsed getting vaccinated loudly, and demonstrated such by getting the shot on camera like all the other past presidents did, I'm sure there would be less reluctance from that group of people.  But that is one of Trumps largest flaws.  He is not a leader.

For all your incessant whining about wanting to get back to normal,  it is hypocritical to object to the quickest way to do so.

Skeptical of the vaccine?

It's not mandatory.

It's an experiment.

Getting back to normal never required this and it shouldn't.

Speaking of leadership.  Since the 500th goal posts move by Fauci on herd immunity on Christmas when he said previously 65% then changed it to 80 or 90%.......he's lost all credibility....a long time ago

Yea he can go f off and show us the data on party affiliation getting vaccinated.

The only "party" that matters is 65 and older and at risk

Healthy 30 year olds need the vaccine?  That what we're saying now?  Who cares what they do especially since this is an experiment

How did you come to the conclusion that white male Rs are skeptical (I’m assuming by that we mean “won’t get it”)?

I’ve read quite a few reports that cynicism regarding vaccines runs quite high in the black community in general.

I’ve become highly skeptical of the information that Das Fauci shares, and know many people of various political ideology that are cautious of the vaccine due to the speed it was developed.  However, the general consensus in my admittedly small circle is that they will get vaccinated.

Holla.

I repeat, I don’t know anything about the cause of his death.

I was commenting on his prowess as a fighter.  That is all.

...though on the trust issue, my neighbor had a long bout with rectal cancer, recovered and was doing well. A year or so ago she started having severe intestinal issues, uncontrollable diarrhea, pain etc.  She was told the problem was caused by scar tissue and problems with radiation and chemo.

She fought bravely, deteriorated and ended up in hospice.  3 days before she died, she tested positive for COVID.

One wonders what her death certificate says.  I have no qualms with people questioning the narrative.
