This is a lot of fun but even a homer like me doesn’t think this team is truly a contender for the Lombardi...this year. I’m excited to see at least 5 more wins and the playoffs, but what is really exciting is the 9 draft picks and a boatload of cash that will have the Bills taking the true “next step” in 2020.

I'm not making the claim they're a SB team. They're not.

But it's a HELL of a lot more fun watching football when your team is 6-2 at week 8.

Exactly. Just because we love seeing the team win more than it loses doesn't mean we're not realistic.

But some people need to be unhappy.

I am one to overreact during games. I WILL FULLY ADMIT THAT.

But, when cooler heads prevail after the game, I manage to post with some more sense. ?

I said during the game that the Bills would DEFINITELY lose to Cleveland next week. Overreaction on my part.

I am watching the Browns-Broncos game exclusively because the Bills have both teams coming up.

I have backed off my "The Bills are definitely going to lose to the Browns" prediction. ?

They are still doing it though... what is wrong with you.

You need to check yourself.

Go look at the last 3 games please vs the 1st 5.

Here I will make it easy for you. So what are they still doing? Really what are you talking about?

Official team turnovers:

Week

1 = 4

2 = 0

3 = 2

4 = 4

5 = 1

6 = Bye

7 = 0

8 = 1

9 = 0

I agree.  This team probably isn't going to make any noise in the playoffs.  But they were awful last year and on track for a playoff berth this year.  That's a huge step forward.

Too many people think being unhappy proves they are smart. All it proves is that they are unhappy.

And as I seem to say a lot lately, a lot of fans like to predict failure -- by team, by players, by coach, by anybody -- because failure is the easiest thing to predict in the NFL. So it's in their best interest to point out things that point to them being right.

Not to mention, did anyone watch the Jets today? Now THAT is a schittshow. The Bills are a team that are winning games they should be winning and have a shot to play in the postseason. If your first thought after a game like this is all the things the team needs to correct, you're just a miserable fan.

They DID turn it over. They just recovered their own fumble! Otherwise it would be a turnover that would have led to a change of possession which would lead to them not covering the spread!

WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

Does this make any sense? It's not a turnover unless you actually turn the ball over and the Offense exits the field.

Exactly. Star and Tremaine and our middle D is exposed and soft on run. After telling us all week long that they're going to solve a couple of things and fix that issue, the first half was an eye-opener. They needed a steady diet of run blitzes to stop the run which is not sustainable in my book.

It is a fair concern to have.

It IS a turnover...it's just not a real turnover...but it could have been a turnover and that would have altered the game, so WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

(I'm just prodding fans who like to explain how  "if certain things didn't happen, the Bills would have lost.")

As happy as I am with the fact that we are 6-2 and won today, Dabolls play calling until the 5:00 mark of the 4th quarter nearly lost this game. I'm not sure why it took so long for him to open it up

I would really like to know is it Daboll shutting down the offense or is it McDermott's conservative philosophy that has the offense going into a shell when we are up by 10 or more. I don't get it and I really don't like it.

Possession of the ball changes with a turnover.  By definition.

Daboll started the season with 17 straight passes. I have to believe since the Pats game McDermott has told Daboll to reign it back.

Hey you make an asshat comment to start a thread, expect people to come in and explain to you why so many are still worried about the problems on this team.

Especially from asshat specialists.

A turnover is when the other team gets the ball.

They stuffed teams early on.  You refuse to acknowledge that

I mean.. today’s game was never really in doubt. We led the whole time, probably by 2 scores most of the game.

yet this is often forgotten.

I concede nothing.  I'm not ruling out a home playoff win or more. That's why they play the games.

I don't blame anyone for being timid to embrace the happy times.  The BBFS is real and earned.  I do believe we will make the playoffs, but don't know how we will far once we get there.

I think it's more frustration than pessimism though.  We know what these players are capable on both sides of the ball.  So seeing them either coached or play down to such a low level, brings out the angry thoughts.

Cut Josh Allen! His stats aren’t very good.  Wins are meaningless, stats are the only thing that matters.

Hey hey hey now, I know this is sarcasm, Poke.

You just gotta understand there's a lot of dim bulbs in the Bills fanbase. They can't help themselves.

It's intellectual cowardice, and it's attributing the identity of PAST teams with this one.

And people need to get over it.

nice stat but lets be honest

this is one of the easiest schedules in NFL history. we continue to struggle against mediocre teams. in reality the Bills a .500 team but with this schedule could get to 10 wins

Mcdermott/Daboll needs to stop with the conservative gameplans. we let a 1 win team with a rookie QB hang around until late 4th Qtr today...at home

Remind me of the last time the Bills beat all the teams they should beat on their schedule.

I'll wait.

How about plenty of times? They beat bad teams every year. all those 7-9 seasons with Jauron. where do you think those 7 wins came from lol.  the one time we came up against a team that is in similar strength this year than us we got smoked (Eagles).
