True fans support their team through the good and bad. Some choose tattoos, some take shots from bowling balls, some get ketchup and mustard squirted on them, some jump through tables etc. Some go to the game quietly, enjoy themselves and go home completely sober afterwards. Bottom line, true fans don't switch teams just because, unless you're a Pats fan. Half their fans jumped on the wagon once they started winning. It's gross. Four plane tix, AirBnb for at least a week (not going for a couple days if I'm traveling from across country), rental car and then a minimum of 5 tix to the game. Anyone else giving this any thought? I hate the thought of being gouged out of my fandom, but it looks like it's heading in that direction. And how much is a game ticket at Giants stadium????? It would have to get pretty darn expensive to scare me off entirely, but I’d watch WAY LESS non-Bills NFL than I used to if they left WNY. It might become my NBA level of interest, ahhh...maybe when the playoffs come around.... There’s always TV, which is a different experience, but the best way to “watch”, as usual. We went to the PGA Tour Finals last Sunday. Awesome to be there, see the guys a few yards away and experience the course. We were eager to get home to see the last few holes. It’s just BETTER on TV.
