Baker accomplished vastly more as a rookie. A lot less to prove. There is a bit more of a leash when it comes to Baker.

my point ..   It is preseason. I try not to take too much from it.

BUT a sub 47 (TT) is still bad and now that I have looked at Bakers, no matter how you dress it    30.6 does suck.

I swear to god I’ll smash my remote if I see Allen get scared like a little girl when a d lineman breaks through and he just throws it on the ground and takes the penalty cause he’s scared to be hit. I know it’s a smart play in the grand scheme of things for him and his team but omg I scream every time I see Brady do it. Most gutless play in the whole league.

Brady is 42 and still playing in the NFL at a high level.

Whatever he's doing is how it's supposed to be done.

Does Josh Allen really need film of Tom Brady playing smart football before doing it himself?

The only person that can make Allen a more cerebral QB and curb his impulse to force things at times, is Josh Allen.

You're right that ultimately the only person who can make Allen better is Allen.  But you don't think it's helpful to watch the GOAT?

I imagine Allen admiring Brady's footwork and committing to working harder on his own.  Or seeing Brady check down and thinking, "Hmm.  I would have made a different decision.  Let me think about that."  And so on.  I can't imagine anything bad happening from studying Brady's film but I can imagine Allen getting better because of the film study.

I'm glad we have a QB who's committed to his craft.

Is it because they are females?

No wonder @teef doesn't like you.

Frankly, they both look like (and most likely are) a huge PITA. I don't have time for that anymore. I'm trying to get A date, let alone have tons of women lined up for a famous "2nd Date with Royale."

I really can understand Giselle....she has man hands.

But Allen's girl is just so adorbs.

Has anybody else noticed Allen's play action fakes are half hearted and lazy and not fooling the D-line? I'm generally not an Allen critic, but I noticed this against both Carolina and Detroit. He's not freezing the D at all and it's costing him time in the pocket.

That's not a difficult thing or something you have to out compete someone, it's just attention to detail and want to. I really want Allen to be The Guy and this seems like such an easy thing to clean up, but if it's still there in two weeks it's going to nag me like crazy.

The Detroit game suggested that his studying is not working. Let’s hope it was a single bad showing and some of the NC game Gomes through when games count.

Lmao, some of you need to stop over reacting from one bad throw.  I mean he had 6 pass attempts lmao and one of his incomplete passes was a great first down pass to Zay who blew it.

agreed on the whole sentence but the highlighted is especially egregious IMO.  I was watched "A football Life" of Belichick, they actually have a video example of 1 second before Brady snapped the ball you can see/hear BB shouting "pass, pass" in his mic and Brady pulls the ball away from the RB (wasn't a designed play-action move).

I don't think Brady was/is the defensive reader he appears to be or was in the beginning; it's possible he's learned listening to BB for 19 years, i think BB was giving him the breakdown right up to the snap.

Flutie said they did this.
