I thought ‘would ya?’ was the code for carnal relations.  Am I walking a tightrope, or something else?

This fraud is tied to a wire anyways. So why not?

yeah, i was a little disappointed when i heard they were using safety harnesses. after most of his famous walks with no safety equipment, i figured this would be the same. guess Lijuana's fall in Fla where she broke every bone in her face was enough to scrap the added element of danger.

Both. Would ya walk across a tightrope, 25 stories above Times Square, for a chance at having carnal relations with her?

Most places and the networks broadcasting these walks won't let them do it without the safety wire. Since it's live they don't want to show them going splat......

I didn't even know he was doing another walk, kinda ho-hum events now. The falls was a big deal cause it was one of the first big ones. The canyon walk was also big, now it just seems like no big deal, probably why they added his sister to this one to make it a little different.

I just know of the Niagara Falls one and he had a harness there I believe.

As much I'd want to say if you're dumb enough to do this for attention you deserve it, but I'm just giving him a hard time. I probably couldn't do it two feet off the ground so there is some skill involved regardless.

There are lots of things that require skill it doesn't mean they are good entertainment.  Backgammon for example takes skill. I'm not watching a backgammon tournament. I'd imagine playing the bongos with your testicles also takes skill but I'm not super interested in watching that either.

I totally agree. I was just trying to be less harsh than my original post.

He didn't want to wear the harness for the walk over the falls but the networks made him or they wouldn't televise it. He fought it but they told him since it's live they couldn't risk having him plummet to his death on live tv. The insurance companies covering the entire event also wouldn't cover it unless he had the harness, without insurance covering the entire event, no place is going to allow him to do the event in their location. All of his televised ones he has to wear a harness.

It's nice to see that it's ok to wish someone die or get seriously injured doing a daredevil stunt is cool, but cheering for an injury at a sporting event makes you a vile disgusting piece of trash......

Alex Honnold has been a guest on Joe Rogan's podcast twice now, and both are great listens.

The first in particular was one of the better Rogan podcasts I've experienced to date.

He's a really interesting, unique person.
