I take an athlete over a limited guy at a position of strength with existing depth. Whether that a WR or developmental piece elsewhere.

If we have Hyde, poyer, neal, Alexander.... this guy will struggle to make the 53 yet alone 45... before we call him a special teamer he has to dress- how many safeties are you giving jerseys to on Sunday?

Alexander is going to play LB.  Behind Hyde and Poyer we have an aging Bush and not much else.

You going to question this regimes pick of defensive backs?

Meh, would rather just flip the 6th for a 5th next year if the guy just isn’t gonna make the cut (which I don’t think this guy will, barring injury). Cutting picks is a complete waste.

Kinda need a taker for that

Do you have any takers? Maybe the other teams feel the same way? And cutting picks is part of the process for every team, every year. Ooh, I said process.....

I have to trust that Beane and Mcdermott are selecting players on their board to fill various roles. Whether they blossom to starters will be determined. We never know. How the heck to we really know at this stage? Things happen.

I'll need oven mitts for your scorching hot take. Remember how badly Andre Roberts torched is last year? And how much this board loves the signing for that alone?

You can lose games for sure. Roberts isn’t moving the needle on wins/losses.

If we show up completely incompetent in coverage, it’ll lose us games. Ok vs great coverage isn’t moving the needle if you have excellent kickers. It’s a “great kickers and just don’t mess up” league on special teams these days.

Weak take.

Taron Johnson had a 4.7 40 time and we all saw how poorly he did as a ROOKIE.

Thank you. If there is one thing I’m not going to criticize this regime about, it’s their ability to find a diamond in the rough secondary player.

Another lackluster pick.  A lot of talent left including some who have a chance to compete for a starting position.  This guy's only chance is special teams and then practice squad.

Now if this were true the Bills would of made a different pick. They are picking BPA's.

I think he meant Mo Alexander, so forgettable it has to be looked up.

Johnson beats out Marlowe and or Mo Alexander and maybe Siran Neal

This one truly feels like proehl did. Personal connection very deep in the draft that doesn’t actually seem to have a real fit. Not a huge deal but I wouldn’t expect to see him play much if at all. He has to leap frog several guys (including a special teams ace at his position group) to even dress to get special teams reps.

Slow. Small. Religious.

Waste of a pick but at this point these are all marginal guys.

No WR or pass rusher to develop yet. But at least they aren't taking unathletic guards with no hope of making the team.

Religious?  What a ridiculous objection to a draft pick.
