I don’t expect him to be ripped but I did expect him to be bigger. Doesn’t mean he can’t be good, but he doesn’t really pass the eye test from a standpoint of a guy who looks like he’s gonna dominate NFL D Linemen. Not seeing how Williams is gonna be some dominant guard at 6’4” 301 pounds. Nelson was 325 at the combine and put up 35 bench reps compared to Williams’ 23. Prickly Pete Posted April 10, 2019 Share Posted April 10, 2019 (edited) I don't believe that they would sign all these Free Agent O-linemen and then still use the 9th pick on a Guard. The question isn't really "How good is this guy?" it's "How much better is he than the guy we have, and how much more of a difference can he make?" I don't think he can make more of a difference than a top prospect D-lineman could for this team.
