BillsFan1988
If he does do it i hope its within the framework of the offense and not by running draw plays 10- 15 times a gm.

All that running around catches up to even the biggest and fastest guys. See Cam Newton the last few years.
mabden
"Can Allen Pass for 4000yds 30TDs and 1000 Rushing yds and 15TDs in the same season?" Sure, if the O-Line doesn't improve.
Protocal69
It would be hard. The 1000 yards rushing got me because I want a 1300 running back and for Allen and the Running back to have a 1000 would be 2300 rushing yards total which i don’t see happening. But if he did though it would be legendary Edited January 3, 2019 by Protocal69
SlimShady'sSpaceForce
4000 yds = 250 per game - Possibly 30 TDs = 1.875 per game - Possibly 1000 Rushing yds = 62.5 per game - Probably not. I'd say closer to 500 to 600 15 TD = .94 per game - Plausible. I'd say closer to 8 to 10 on goal line stances.
BillsVet
Is the NFL going to mandate Bills opponents feature defenses consisting of HS varsity players next year? If so, yes, I think he can do it. As long as he has NFL players to throw to that is.

He had 173 ypg. its got to be an easy 50 ypg in drops. Look at Mitch Trubisky. Last year 180 ypg and 230 in 2018. It can happen Edited January 3, 2019 by ShadyBillsFan

2000 Monte
If we play Miami every week, yes!
Matt_In_NH
Not likely......you really dont want him running for 1000 yards. Other than it would be cool, its not a good plan, he needs to stay healthy and throw for 4500 while running for 500 or something.
Magox
3 minutes ago, Jay_Fixit said: What’s stopping him there? I wouldn't say anything is stopping him as much as his natural progression leaning towards scrambling to throw as opposed to run downfield as much. hemma
nah ... even a career 'Grand Slam' would be tough, given those goals.
NewEra
It’s such a stupid question but it’s actually really possible. He’s got that type of talent. Needs some good help though.
CuddyDark
If he can lets hope it's next year. Lets also hope they don't forget defense and we look like the Ravens or the 49ers with Kaepernick and make a run of it.
billspro
I hope so because with those stats we would probably be 15-1 and Allen would be NFL MVP. I believe he get close to 4000 yards next year.
TigerJ
Too early to speculate about stuff like that, for me at least.WEhen he has a 300 yard game, I'll give it some thought.
teef
I’ll change my name to Josh Allen if that happens.
freddyjj
Not quite for Josh in 2019 My guess here assuming 16 games played 225 yds/game passing = 3600 yds for 2019 1.5 TDs thrown/game = 24 TDs passing 50 ypg rushing on 8 carries/gm = 800 yds rushing in 2019 .75 TD rushing/game = 12 Rushing TDs on the year. So 4400 yds total vs 2700 yds or 63% more due to more games played and slight increase per game. Coupled with 36 total TDs, which would be double what he generated this year.
