What people haven't thought through yet is that the law requires they be detained until their hearing, and the administration is pretty scrupulously enforcing that law. So they all have to be detained...somewhere. And when I say "people haven't thought of that," I mean the media in general. The caravan organizers, and certain activists in the US, have. In fact, they're counting on it - the later everyone realizes that they'll be detained in the equivalent of Manzanar, the greater the outrage will be.
