Brady, Rodgers, Rothlisberger, Brees, Rivers, Wilson, Wentz, Goff, Ryan, Newton, Carr, Mahomes are all better than Cousins.  I'd also take any of the first 4 QBs drafted this year over Cousins as well.  He's an above avg QB some times and as bad as Tyrod on primetime at worst.

No to 90% of this.

Oh for sure.  I supported Goff when dumb people were calling him a bust.  I do think he has possibly the best offensive coach and a great system around him.

Agree. The coach and system are perfectly suited for him. I will eat some crow, after his rookie year I didn't think much of Goff. I was wrong.

You gotta be patient with QBs my man.  I wasn’t high on the Allen pick and a big reason why is I don’t like our setup for him.  I hope I’m wrong and even as not a big fan of the pick, is giving him a few years no matter what.

But it definitely is is easier than ever to be a qb.

It feels like watching an arena league game.. It's entertaining since I have my FanDuel bets and a lot of points going off.

That's exactly what it is.

The NFL knows fantasy is what's driving its game, and they've made the rules amenable to it.

But it ain't football.

I don't track, much college ball, so literally all I had see of Goff was his play rookie year. Watching those games he didn't look very good. Didnt really show better as the season wore on.

Amazing what a good coach can get out of a guy. Both QBs tonight have the same guy to thank.

true, especially with the tackling flags and roughing the passer bs. Makes the game unwatchable at times.

I mean I love tds and big plays but as someone who loved playing defense, I can’t imagine playing it.  The nfl has killed an aggression you can play with.

What made football GREAT was the big hit.

Now that they've legislated it out of the game in the name of "safety," they've effectively ruined the game.

Jeff Fisher was a joke of a coach who only was thought to be good because he had a cool mustache.

Please.

It’s the proliferation of spread offenses up from the college game. Both teams are great at stretching the field both vertically and horizontally. Football isn’t played in a phone booth anymore, the notion teams can just run out of the I with a fullback is dead. We see terrible oline play first hand. These teams both are great at getting their WRs in space.

bingo! That's it my man. Fantasy sports driving the game. More points, more bets, more action. And yeah, it's a **** brand of football. I'd rather have the pure game back, but that ain't happening.

I mean I get the head hits.  You have to get rid of those.  But it’s insane how you expect a guy going at full speed to be absolutely perfect trying to tackle a grown man.

How long have you been watching the game?

When I started watching it, you could all but mug receivers, so it made big offensive games something SPECIAL.

This is...not football.

I understand that. It wasn’t meant to be serious.

I gotcha ha.  I don’t think the Bills are super talented but they still have nfl players.  Anyone can beat anyone any given week.

I mean, it was no Magnum PI mustache, but I will concede the coolness of the 7-9 stache

Today Ronnie Lott and Lester Hayes would probably draw flags during their long suspensions

younger fans don't have the attention span to watch a 17- 13 field position battle type of a football game  Video game generation needs constant stimulus
