There was no way he was going to trust a front office that wasn't even going to be there in a few days, to pick his QB. He knew there would be a new GM and he knew the 2018 QB class had more potential than the 2017. 1

The GM drafted his guy, and since he disapproves he has changed his narrative. I usually only listen to the WGR app during the season, FA, and Draft other than that I really don't listen because I'm not a fan of the hosts.

We "overpaid" to trade up vs. the Cards - ignoring the fact that we traded up for the right to chose our guy, and may have been bidding with them.

I'm just always curious why anyone would be entertained by anything that they have no good outlook for actually being entertaining. I won't watch Patriots games because of this. I feel I already know the ending and I won't like it. It's not entertaining, so I don't do it. There has to be some hope for positive outcomes, otherwise why bother? It's a sort of masochism .

Expand I mean, Luck is a top 10 QB and once all the current Hall of Famers retire he'll be Top 5. I'd say it worked out just fine. Guys get hurt.

He should have said "I just want a GM to get their guy that I agree with".
