BrotherChazz
And very few have been missed. Shows you just how poor the roster was. A couple of guys I would love to have had back from last year. I'm still amazed that we made the playoffs last year with the talent on this team.
YoloinOhio
Last year’s roster was pretty trashy. I mean this year’s isn’t great either but wow. Edited April 16, 2018 by YoloinOhio

Some still are. Quote QBs were Tyrod Taylor, Cardale Jones, and Josh Woodrum A more pathetic statement about a football team, I've never read.

Augie
Big turnovers are not unusual, but THAT is amazing. What is “average”?

MILFHUNTER#518
If you think that is crazy, just wait until August after we let our draft picks compete in camp and roster cutdown comes around. This staff is not f***ing around and I LOVE it!? Edited April 16, 2018 by MILFHUNTER#518 Spelling

whatdrought
So much of the last 20 years of Buffalo Bills football has been holding onto aging, irrelevant players and not pursuing depth and competition across the board. So glad to see this trend swinging. I'd rather a team with 15 rookies in the top 53 if each day they are striving to be better, than a team full of complacent vets.

I expect it's high but not 33% retention rate. New regime obviously contributed greatly. They've spent the past year positioning for this draft. Can't wait to see how it plays out. I'm optimistic given the fact that they broke the drought in a year with so much turn-over.

LeGOATski
Whaley had talent on the team. Just never got a QB or a coach he would work well with. I'm not taking blame off him.

Doc Brown
That's what happens when you rank 29th in offense and 26th in defense. I'm still trying to figure out how we made the playoffs.

I'm still trying to figure out how we made the playoffs. Because the defense was feast or famine. It played 10 really, really good games. Then 6 very bad ones. We made the playoffs because really other than Carolina and then Jax in the playoffs every game we were in with a real chance in - we won. We got bashed by the Saints, Chargers and Jets and then were beaten twice where the Pats just went away after HT. The other loss in Cincy I put on injuries really. We ended up with absolutely no receiving threat whatsoever in that 2nd half.
Magox
And there is going to continue to be a lot of turnover. Quite a few of the replacements are not going to be part of the long-term overhaul, rather roster fillers that fit the mold of what they are trying to do but simply aren't up to par talent wise. I suspect by the time we reach September of 2019 there will be somewhere between 20-30 new faces that aren't currently on the roster now. This team will improve markedly from a talent perspective. Buffalo716
I am not directly making a comparison but the Seahawks gutted their roster and found process players in their turnaround Hit on late round picks and built a great core of players we need to similarly hit on late round picks
