He was a very good college QB. When he got to start with the Bengals, he played well. I prefer to move up a little & get our QB, but McCarron will be a fine QB for someone. In the face of a good pass rush, he made plays , was confident, and except for a team members fumble, would have won the playoff game as a decided underdog. The kid just looks like a winner to me. Basing it on what he did for the Crimson Tide and correlating that to NFL potential is a mistake given how they mostly rely on tough defense and the run game down there.
