Drought Mt Rushmore

First, I say it should just be "Drought Rushmore"

F. Jackson, E. Wood, K. Williams, & B. Moorman

(Although technically K. Williams and E. Wood lived to see a post-drought world)

Honorable mentions: D. Flutie, B. Buffalo, J. Murphy, T. Spikes

Honorable mention to AW and Moulds as well

Players who played a playoff game aren't allowed on Drought Rushmore.

That's the whole point, to honor the best players whose careers were thrown away spinning in circles on Bills' teams that never made it to the playoffs.

A guy like Lee Evans would be suitable, as would Fred Jackson.

So should it be high profile guys who contributed to the drought, or guys who were the best and contributed to us being perennial 7-9 and sabotaging our chances for a top 5 pick???

I’m thinking if it is called drought Rushmore instead of the good players it should be the players, coaches, managers who were the biggest contributors to the drought:

Rob Johnson, Aaron Maybin, Doug Whaley, John McCargo

That's a different sort of concept, but I like this a lot.

I think that deserves it's own thread.

To me Schobel epitomizes the drought, good but not good enough. I get the, “they payed in a playoff game they don’t count” mantra but the dude what deserve it:

But still....

Brian Moorman

Kyle Williams

Fred Jackson

Eric Wood

T. McGee

Takeo Spikes

Wade Phillips

Guys who were either the heart and soul, or played at a top 10 level at their positions on bad teams.

Schobel was very good but not great at his job. A very consistent above average contributor.
