Gugny
I had to listen to the game on the radio today. My question is specific to the "catchability" of Peterman's passes. It sounded like a good percentage of his incompletions could have been caught. This isn't meant to be a criticism to the receivers. I simply would like to know if he threw good passes. Obviously, with the weather they were enjoying, nothing was easy. Thank you.
Woodman19
He had one that was a little high that wasn't caught and a few others I can understand the receivers dropping with how crap the visibility was but he could have had 2-3 more completions.
Big Gun
Every pass hit the WR in the hands except one and that was a good break up by the DB.
klos63
I think it's tough to judge anyone's performance fairly today. All we can take from this game is a win.
NewEra
He looked very comfortable out there considering the circumstances. Every ball was on the money except the cross to clay, which was a little high but could have been caught from what I remember
TigerJ
I think most of Peterman's passes were catchable under ordinary circumstances. Like every QB he threw some passes that receivers had to stretch or jump, or adjust to in some way. The weather being what it was, I can't be too hard on a receiver for not making an otherwise makeable reception.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce
I’d say nearly every pass was on target and the first 5 or so passes were on the hands and dropped 2
suorangefan4
I hate how a spike to stop the clock counts as an incompletion too. That was one of his 5 incompletions. The other 4 all hit the receivers in the hands. Only one was a little high but still catchable.
HappyDays
His worst pass hit Clay in the hands, just a little too high. I thought he had a really good day for whatever that's worth on 10 passes in the snow.
BillsfanAZ
Hard to lay blame with the conditions today. In a normal game, those passes should have been caught. Ball hits you in the palms within your catch radius, you bring that catch in. I am glad there wasnt a Colt behind Clay because of the way it bounced off his hands it would have been an easy INT

Woodman19
I am impressed with the ball placement in awful conditions. At the very least it should show people he does have the arm and hands to handle poor weather.

Woodman19
Peterman is so frustrating to watch because hes making aggressive mistakes that you feel he should know better than. At least he was much more careful and willing to take sacks this game instead of just flinging it up. Lets hope he learns just as quickly from this and doesn't put his body at risk. Cruiserplayer
Only mistake today was his head first slide. To date I have seen no problem with accuracy, catchable balls or zip on throws.
ticketssince61
Last week versus New England Tyrod was 9 of 18 for 65 yards 0 TD and 1 INT Today in miserable conditions Peterman was 5 of 10 for 57 yards 1 TD and 0 INT Peterman's stats were actually better than TT's
wppete
Peterman looked good today considering the horrible conditions. I wonder if he is cleared and healthy if he will get the start. I would start him over Tyrod if they both are healthy. Edited December 11, 2017 by wppete
The Now Moment
Had the most beautiful pass from a Buffalo player in years with his back shoulder pass to Benjamin down the sideline. I hope he gets healthy, I'd like to see him playing next week

It's obviously very early in his career and hoping he'll improve with each outing, but come on, he threw 5 INT's in 1 half. You can't just ignore that in his assessment to this point. Wily Dog
i believe that Jon Gruden said that NP was the most NFL ready QB drafted last year. He still is a rookie and will make some rookie mistakes. He is showing some mettle , in the last two games . i believe a true Bills fan will want a first year player to succeed and develop into a quality QB. Some of the posts do not seem to take the development time into play . Remember , Nate has about one game of experience in a true NFL game . I watched the game today and i was impressed with NP's passing in the elements and not iimpreeed with his rookie mistake of not sliding . He will learn. dgrochester55
Although you cant truly evaluate a quarterback in these conditions, Peterman was certainly better today. I remember one pass being off but everything else was good. Peterman and Benjamin were on fire at the end of the second half. He was doing well before his injury especially considering the conditions.

Nate is a rookie, rookies make mistakes. Atleast his mistakes are not all on him and he is trying to do what a QB needs to do and throw the ball. I guess watching TT for 3 years has people scarred of throwing the ball and must love 3 and outs. Peterman may not pan out, probably wont, but all this bashing on a rookie making his first start is just stupid. And in the snow how many picks did he throw? I saw predictions that he would have at leadt 3 in the first half, how did that work out?

How can you have any credibility in assessing QB play if you totally excuse 5 INT's= that's my only point. I hope Peterman does well when he plays, I hope Taylor does well when he plays. When TT plays poorly, I'll say it.
