Bills trade #10 for #27, a 3rd, and 2018 1st

Recommended Posts

Well CRAP. NFL.com was reporting initially it was KC's 1st and 3rd in 2018 only! idiots!

That feels better still does not seem like a great deal honestly.

It's 27 and 3rd this year and 1st next year.

Is that why people are freaking out. Would make sense.

You're right of course, but you have to assume that it factored into the Bills' calculus when making this move... which means (probably) that their scouting department thinks it's going to be a deep class.

But it's all prognosticating which is never exact.

What difference does that make if all of the scouting staff is being fired? [unless that article is a bunch of bull of course]

They finally have a hard schedule this year. They are a prime team to fall off

They've gone 43-21 the last four years and have been 23-9 the last two in a strong division, talent wise.

Take a look at the past few seasons. Last year the Raiders were a strong team and Denver was horrible and the Chargers were garbage, the year before the Raiders were average, Denver won the SB and the Chargers were garbage. Where is this strong division? KC has had very weak schedules and yes they won games. When your team depends on turnovers and scores from special teams and the defense to win games you're setting yourself up for failure.

Alex Smith is too scared to throw the ball and push it down field.

So if that is right, why do folks think we should have gotten more? I'm confused.

Because KC is a playoff team and will be picking late again next year. It might as well be a 2nd round pick if it's in the neighborhood of pick 30

They did not in any way, shape or form

We moved back 17 Browns moved back 13 and they got thesame return. A 1st and 3rd

Plus KC is far better than Houston

Yeah KC isn't that good of a team. I think the pick is anywhere 15-20 next year, right around same spot the Bills will be 10-20 range.

I hope your right, but with the schedule, new coaches and schemes, the Bills are back in the top 10 next season. Probably around 6.

60-24 including the final two sf years. Assume it all away if you will.
