Good move in a situation with few options - and leaves draft, roster and salary cap options open in '17.

Speaking of few options but someone who knows TT and the offense, does anybody know what happened to Jarett Boykin ? Not a game-breaker speed wise but is big, physical, runs good routes and can at least catch a cold. He and TT set all the passing records together at VT.

Not sure how close he was to making the 53 with all those WR options ..... oh, what a difference 3 months make ...

I really do not understand why some people are so up in arms over this signing.

It makes a lot of sense under the circumstances on multiple levels (as I mentioned previously and as Joe B tweeted).

Quitting on your team by being a little B word is far different for retiring due to health and injury concerns. Not the same thing.

Huuuuuuuge distinction. Well said.

I am a little surprised at all the negativity over this move. Yes, Harvin had decided to retire and yes, he needs to be handled with kid gloves, but he is talented and this team is flat out of NFL WRs - anyone that watched the last 2 games should understand that.

There was no magic trade for a good veteran WR that was realistically going to materialize, so this looks like about as good an option as they had. They did not have to give up any draft picks or players to bring Harvin back, as they would otherwise have had to do if they were to trade for a WR (and who really is available and at what price?)

You do know that the roster is only 53 players, right? Kind of hard to go three deep at every position.

True enough. Not that anyone cares on witch hunt Tuesdays. For the record, 2 of their top 3 receivers were out on Sunday and the third was clearly hobbled. Number 4(Salas) is also on IR. The Bills were literally playing numbers 5 and 6 on the depth chart in key roles, and everyone is surprised the passing game does not look good. No teams go that deep and no QBs look good in that scenario.

He bailed on the team and didn't let them know anything for weeks.

He also has a history of quitting. https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/report-wr-percy-harvin-refused-to-enter-3-games-this-year/amp/?client=safari

But since he's a Bill and not a Dolphin, it's all good!
