I mean, ANYONE? I know there are some real homers on this Board, but even you two (you know who you are) have to be coming around by now, no? The Dean
I have defended the FO so far but this move baffles me. Ditto here. I'm not saying he should be cut. But I don't like that he is starting. Extended? Please.

K Gun Special
at $24 million is the rumor. Thats just ridiculous. He's a marginal player who gets exposed by decent TE's. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
basskik11
This is getting rediculous. This organization couldn't compete in an arena league. I can't take it anymore man.
Beerball
This is baffling and I challenge anyone to explain the logic of this re-signing. Being 'respected' by you peers only goes so far.
BUFFALOTONE
I really can not believe this is true. He may be a swell guy and all but holy fn shiiite! Have they watched the games at all???he is so out of place out there.
Captain Caveman
Our only hope is that there is no signing bonus, so that in reality it becomes a year to year deal. That's unlikely tho'.
MClem06
He's a veteran .... of horrible play in the NFL. I have no idea why he was resigned and he doesn't fit into this 3-4 at ALL. Threw up in my mouth a little when i saw this. Bad call by the FO to resign. 4 more years of this guy... oh man.

Punch
If Kelsay is still getting $6 million per year then the Jets should be paying David Harris something In the neighborhood of $18 million this offseason when they extend him. The only positive to this is that apparently Kelsay didn't get a raise.

KOKBILLS
Like the rest of you...I'm completely baffled by this move...I just don't know what to say... Further proof why The Bills are where they are...
JPS
Thank god the Bills finally stepped up and signed a veteran!!! It's about freakin' time they paid someone!!! Wait...it was Kelsay? Nevermind.
ACor58
Name another team in the NFL that would have given him a contract anywhere near the size that he just signed. Unfreaking believable.
flopagamo
Kelsay must have some compromising photos of someone up there.

LabattBlue
The thought of Kelsay blowing Ralph is a very disturbing image, but there is just no other way to explain this.
basskik11
I agree. I think the article is citing "veteren leadership" or something like that but c'mon now. He's not a BAD player, but he definitely doesn't fit the 3-4 scheme. He's a back up 4-3 DL at best. The Bills don't pay big time free agents, but they are willing to pay an unproven vet? If the rumors are true and it's 4 yrs at $24 mil, i'm gonna puke.
BuffaloBaumer
I am going to really need a Jimmy V speech if there is not a trade in the works to package with Lynch because I am definitely about to give up............

tbonestake
He must have pictures in his possession of Ralph in the hyperbaric chamber that keeps him alive. BillsFanM.D.
Like the rest of you...I'm completely baffled by this move...I just don't know what to say... ...don't know what to say...how bout this.. "You've got to be stevestojaning me!" I seriously cannot make any sense of this. I don't think anyone on this board would have HONESTLY been surprised had he been cut recently. Now, we're extending him....
....lybob
I have never understood the Bills seemingly vast love of Kelsay- he was a barely adequate DE and at OLB he's painful to watch- when you add in his age and the real possibility of a lock out next season extending him seems inexplicable- of course for me the Bills do 4 or 5 inexplicable things a year for at least the last 10 years. NewEra
Maybe we plan on scraping the 3-4... Dunno what the thought process could be. Kelsey is incapable of being a starting Olb in the 3-4. Maybe we can just play nickel and dime 24/

joejoebills
As much as i dislike this move it's exactly what nix said he had in mind for this team from day one when he wanted us to become a "Big physical team" Kelsay is big and kinda physical? I just hope for the best. Go Bills
