Rams in talks with 3 teams to trade Brandin Cooks

I wouldn't hate it if the price is reasonable. Could this be another "Beane is a wizard" moment? -
Beane is the wizard at this the way Belichick is the wizard at getting comp picks... Its amazing how he gets picks for random guys he is going to cut anyways

RB is a really GLARING need, right?
Victory Formation replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ve been saying it for over a month now. Singletary is legit, like top 5 RB in the NFL legit but I prefer a RBBC approach. It’ll keep Singletary fresh, lengthen his career and constantly keep defenses off guard. Every time Singletary stepped out for a breather our running game suffered massively. Gore and Yeldon were just not good enough to keep the chains moving. There’s at least half a dozen RBs RDS 2-4 that I think could come in right away and help us, Taylor, Dobbins, CEH, Moss, Dillon, Benjamin etc, and I’m sure I’m missing a couple but the point remains, adding another bell cow RB makes our offense dangerous. We’re deep everywhere but RB and it’s a position that is in obvious need of an upgrade. I’d prefer we go to the draft for RB and not FA. Find a young stud that can help spearhead a doubleheaded monster with Singletary. I’d prefer we address it RD2 especially if Dobbins or Taylor slip, maybe even trade up a little bit get one but WR is also still a need, we could go there as well, I guess it depends on how the board plays out. We need RB, WR, DE so I’m hoping we address these areas in RDS 2, 3 & 4. Other than that I think our roster is pretty jacked, like should compete for a Super Bowl Championship level jacked. Brandon Beane is a genius and quite frankly one of the best GMs in football, if not in all of sports. The man is a wizard. -
Projected 55* & Roster Discussion (Draft)
Inigo Montoya replied to BuffaloHokie13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hopefully Beane can put on his wizard's hat and once again trade those players that aren't going to make the cut on this deep roster and stock up on some more draft capital to use like the 5th and 6th round picks (Teller / Bodine) that were a part of the Diggs deal. -
I believe our fans play a bigger part in FA coming here then some may think! Best fans in the NFL....Well that and Bean being a wizard!

Quinton Spain to re-sign with buffalo, 3 yr 15 million
Rc2catch replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I will change my earlier stance of being on the fence. Beane is a wizard and that is yet another fantastic team friendly deal. They have done something here, I cannot possibly believe Spain would not have gotten more money in free agency from someone. -
We ***** let him go for one year so he can make a key play that leads directly to the game winning FG in the playoff game. Beane is a wizard and should have seen the future and not allowed him to leave last year. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/play-of-the-year-deshaun-watsons-astonishing-scramble-caps-texans-incredible-ot-rally/ar-BBYClx1

That could happen, and I like your suggestion of trading two 2nd rounders for him. Although the Jaguars will exhaust their search for that elusive first round pick from another team. Beane is going to have to put that wizard hat on and summon as many powers from Elysium, Nirvana & The Happy Hunting Grounds as he can.

Brandon Beane press conference 4/2 & One Bills Live
DJB replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That comment accomplishes two things. First is to show support and confidence in a Bills player, the second is pure smokescreen about interest in other potential RB. No question the Bills will add someone to that room. We will look back at this comment by Beane and when we draft a solid RB we will once again call him a wizard! -
Im with the consensus here...Dawkins. I love Milano, but at the end of the day we need to protect Allen more than anything and he's a pretty good LT who I think has his best days ahead of him now with the OL being rebuilt last year and again added to this year. Hopefully we can keep both, but I think its a no brainer if its a choice between the two. Beane is a wizard, so I am optimistic he can find a way to retain both.

Got bored and looked into some Dennison numbers...
blacklabel replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks all for the positive responses and adding to the conversation. I really didn't think people would be too interested, I was just bored, haha. I did not take into account how many plays were called by RD. I'm not sure exactly what his roles were when he was with either Shanahan or Kubiak, we know both of those coaches definitely had themselves mixed into playcalling, I'm just not sure how often the decisions were on those guys or on RD and I'm not sure info like that would be found unless you worked with those dudes. I think it bodes well that RD was able to get some solid seasons out of Matt Schaub. I won't discredit Kubiak's influence there but RD, being the OC, clearly had a hand in identifying what Schaub could and couldn't do. A few of the reasons I expect an uptick in the passing game would be, I think McDermott and Beane would like to see Tyrod in certain situations where they have to throw the ball to see if he can get it done. Another reason would simply be the switch from Roman's offense to Dennison's. While Roman has always been known as a wizard in the run game and with blocking schemes, his passing concepts have never been good. So while he flourished because of the unpredictability in his run schemes, he floundered because of the predictability in his passing schemes. Teams weren't afraid to leave 8 in the box not only because they knew the run was coming and not only because they didn't feel any pressure from Taylor as a passer, but also because on film the route concepts and such were just very basic. -
No matter what you think - Beane got exactly who he wanted
Alphadawg7 replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Beane did a great job to get 2 of the top 15 prospects in a draft that wasn't deep with top end talent. And we did not give up anything next year either to do it. He is a wizard. -
Two year deal...so if he has a solid season, we could potentially flip him this offseason if Allen is ready to start. Or, again if he has a very good season, then we let him payout that 2nd year and see if he keeps the job, and if so they would obviously be in position to move Allen too. Personally, I think Allen will eventually win the job, but AJ could play well enough to fetch us a decent draft pick in a trade too. I mean we just flipped Tyrod for a pretty good draft pick. Beane is a wizard

Brandon: Continuity the No. 1 variable
Coach Tuesday replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no problem with leaving the GM in place and leaving him alone to do his job, free of interference from bean counters and marketing wizards. I DO have a problem with leaving in place the JV coaching staff hired by the marketing wizard. To summarize: let Whaley stay, but get rid of Brandon (or wall him off) and absolutely, positively, FOR FREAKIN' ONCE, get a real, NFL-caliber coaching staff in here.
