yes and no. they already had Michael Irvin. About 1/2 the OLine was already there (Tuinei and The Kitchen). They inherited the first pick in the 1989 draft and took Troy. Really the Cowboys tanked or were really bad resulting high picks in 1988 (pre JJ) and 1989. And this was pre Free Agency as we now know it. Unrestricted Free Agency began in 1992.

Seattle Seahawks Have "Gig Posters" for Games

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I agree with Hapless' take on the Ram one and think it is the coolest. -
Had Hyde gone down instead of running the onsides kick in for a TD, we would be 27th in points per game.

Do you think the Bills are doomed to repeat 2008, 2011?
reddogblitz replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doomed is a little extreme. The 2017 team, although no mentioned, was not doomed. I remember 2008 and 2011 very well. I also remember thinking at the time we had finally found our QB and coach and the future is bright. Like now. I'm gonna just take it week by week and see how it plays out. What we have now is a good start. Enjoy it. Go BILLS !! -

I have said this many times and even heard a guy on WGR post game say it. We own those films. Dust 'em off and copy a few of those screens. Hit Singletary instead of Fred. -
Josh Allen - week EIGHT report card
reddogblitz replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh is a better runner though. -
Agreed. The one I hate is the empty backfield. Earth to Defense, we're going to pass.
-
Is he really trying to put Josh into a Tommy offense? Tommy's offense is based on short fast guys running crossing patterns and pick plays. I've seen little of that. Most of the time it looks more like the Coach Hackett offense throwing to guys standing still. Just doing more of it. Really bugs me he is bound and determined to pass on every play with an inaccurate QB when we have the 7th best run game in NFL and an all time great ground and pounder in Frank Gore coupled with a really good D. Would open up the pass game and play action I would think. Don't waste really good D and a favorable schedule looking ahead. Do what you do do well.

Josh Allen - week EIGHT report card

Reminds me of the Coach Moron era teams. Especially 2014. -
D. If Rex Roman/Anthony Lynn with Hotrod at QB can be top 1/3 of league in scoring 2 years in a row, Dabol should be able to do at least as well with Josh under center. We ain't scoring points = FAIL.

Be careful what you ask for.

Josh Allen - week EIGHT report card
reddogblitz replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at the game. The weather was terrible for the Eagles too yet they managed to score 31 points. I also remember being told many times that we needed Allen because he has a strong arm which is needed for strong swirling Ralph winds. Bouncing passes into RBs and underthrowing a wide open WR with the wind at his back is concerning. And he seriously needs to shake the fumblitis. Good news is there is another game Sunday. Go BILLS !!!! -
2019 Playoffs. 1st round

The only thing I would add is root for the AFC team with the worst record of the two playing each other. Go Bills !! -

This is the one I hate and usually laugh at. "I have dedicated my life to public service." -- Bill Clinton. More like he dedicated his life to being serviced by the public. Women's Health Care - Abortion. The leading cause of death for women is heart disease yet it is never mentioned as part of "Women's Health Care." -

What have the Democrats done in the past Four years
reddogblitz replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I see it a little differently. I think Ds are for it because they think a lot of bad stuff is going to come out on Trump causing people to be disgusted and vote against him ie. Democrat. Meanwhile Trump likes it because he can portray the Democrats as the party that cried wolf. I can see him now at one of his monster rallies saying "They tried to get rid of me but couldn't. I'm here for you. They don't want you to have a Great America you deserve." or whatever. It's a win/win. Makes one wonder if DR's whole uni-party theory is really true.
