  1. Have you read "Playing for Pizza" by John Grisham? It's about a bad NFL QB that goes to Europe to play on a semi-pro football team. It's really good.
  2. I see this as a player safety concern. Jet lag is a real thing. I've traveled over there a bunch and can personally attest to that. For the first few days over there I was sleep walking. Can't imagine trying to play football.
  3. You don't know it's a fallacy and neither do any of us. We won't know for sure until/if they put a team there for about 5-10 years.
  4. You're on the ground there. I trust your knowledge and judgement. Are there any professional football leagues in Europe? With all this interest in NFL football have any been proposed? Do kids play football there? I'm asking because I'm curious. Not trying to make a point.
  5. I see your point. However what I wonder about is would it be sustainable? It's one thing to sell out a game or two as a novelty. What happens when you have 10 games to sell out per year after the novelty has worn off? It's like if they open a new restaurant in your neighborhood and for the first 2 weeks the line is out the door. After a few weeks not so much. I just wonder if London is ready for a team in the same way LA was ready for two teams? As far as the inferiority of the product goes, they love basketball in Europe too. And they have their own leagues AND support it even though it's not on the same level as the NBA. Same goes for China. If you love the sport, you love the sport I guess is my point. In Seattle when they bring in Chelsea for a friendly they sell 65,000 tickets. For MLS games they sell 35,000. Still a lot for an inferior product. But they support it because they love soccer in Seattle.
  6. How so? Please explain. It included players like Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, Fred Jackson and coaches like HOF Ernie Stautner who was long time DC on Tom Landry's staff who led Frankfurt to back to back World Bowls. Other coaches included Mouse Davis, Kay Stephenson, and Jim Haslett, My point is if they love football so much why didn't they watch it? Instead their franchise folded up like a cheap lawn chair. I love football and I watched it and thought it was fun. Are they snooty football fans that only can stomach "The Best football"? Makes no sense to me.
  7. I did mean WLAF. WAFL was a joke name which is what many of us called it at the time. However, the league lasted until 2007. The London Mondarchs were replaced by the Berlin Thunder in 1998. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Europe
  8. If there is so much interest in football in London, why don't they have their own league? As I recall, the London Monarchs were one of the first teams in the WAFL to fold.
  9. I never understood the concept of music videos in the first place. almost makes a guy miss Dan Dierdorf. Almost ...
  10. I'm just comparing personal TBD shipping boys regardless of position.
  11. Ought Oh, is Jerry now in the running for perennial TBD whipping boy? I thought DiMarco had that spot locked up already.
  12. Looked to me like he was definitely affected by the pressure. I would point to a few plays like the intentional grounding and the deep flutter ball pick to Earl as evidence among others. Why?
  13. Once again Baltimore showed if you can hit Tommy hard a few times early he gets gun shy and hears foot steps and throws bad passes.
  14. And their QB is an entitled short cry baby milenial.
  15. I could not disagree more. Josh is a gamer, but he is also inaccurate at times and left to his own devices,a turn over machine. we're trying to win. Would be dumb to waste a really good D and favorable schedule so Josh can throw the ball all over yard just to see what he's got. I hope to see more games like today from our offense resulting in more wins. As did yours LOL
  16. let's also not forget.that the Cheats** have to play the Chiefs probably with Mahommes back whereas we play the Broncos.
  17. Look harder. If the Cheats** lose tonight we are 1 game behind and we play them again. There are 8 games to go. Anything can happen.
  18. I concede nothing. I'm not ruling out a home playoff win or more. That's why they play the games.
  19. He does enough for us to win the game.
  20. He did catch a TD pass on the Show Bowl. Without that the drought is still on at 19.
  21. Not so sure about that. Spy cameras, jamming the opponents QB radio, and bugging the opposing team's locker room is pretty high tech.
  22. If theyre so good why do they have to cheat? Tom Landry and Chuck Noll and Bill Walsh didn't have to. I really don't know good they really are because they cheat heavily.
  23. I was at that Thanksgiving Day game. In post game interviews, one Cowboy player was asked how Clint did it he said it was the beauty of an uncluttered mind.
