  1. This is a good thing. One of her plans is to take big monied influence out of politics. I agree. Might even make me want her to win it true.
  2. You are what your record says you are.
  3. Who said it happened in the day of debit cards?
  4. all we gotta do is beat 'em is once. For now. What do you suggest? Do you think our DLine can get to him fast enough? I don't. Rolling over is not an option.
  5. And he saw what happened to Al Gore and McCain. When you're party has held the prez for 8 years in dang near impossible to win. HW is the only one since the 2 term rule was put in place.
  6. We wore whitee tightees last week at home. I don't know if there is even a "normal look" for football suits anymore.
  7. Krystal is better then White Castle. I stopped going to the Chick when they wouldn't take my Traveler's check.
  8. JonesBoys and it ain't even close.
  9. Another good reason not to be on FakeBook.
  10. You might be right. I haven't looked up stats and QB ratings etc which I presume you have. However, from watching games vs Tommy for years and years it appears to me that teams that drop a lot of DBs in coverage and try to cover everyone go down in flames. I've seen us do it many times. I've seen us do it many times. If we do that Sunday, we will lose. I'm for trying something a little different. I don't think we can get enough from our front 4 like the Giants did in the SB for example. Do you? It's a timing system. Throw off their timing by any means necessary. Bump WRs at the line. Double cover Edelman. Something like that. If using your sure fire plan (getting heavy pressure from front 4) isn't an option. Go for something else, not bang your head against the wall. Coach McDermott and Coach Frazier are smart Defensive guys. Should be fun to see what they come up with. Really though, we gotta score some freakin' points. Like 30+ of them.
  11. honestly I see him carve up teams that don't blitz him in almost every game I watch.
  12. My D game plan: Double cover and jam Edelman at the line. Take away their best threat ala BB. Every so often do a full house max reddogblitz on Tommy. Hit Tommy often even late if you have to. It'd be worth the 15 yards to knock him down a few times. Sure Tommy may burn us a few times, but he gets really erratic and mad when hit often. Disrupt their timing. It's all timing for them.
  13. * You need to score more points than they do.
  14. We'll be 4-0 and on to Tennessee.
  15. Everyone -1. I concede nothing. They're all HUGE.
  16. Since Coach McDermott and Coach Frazier have taken over, Tommy has thrown more picks to Buffalo than TD passes. 3 TDs 4 picks in 4 games. .
  17. Along with “Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, 1984, by George Orwell, Slaughter House Five, by Kurt Vonnegut, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck, Dante’s Inferno, and Night, by Elie Wiesel.” To be fair, why keep copies of 1984 on hand? It might remind the kids that they’re living it out first hand. Related: “The Problem with Canceling History,” as Laura Ingalls Wilder and her Little House on the Prairie are getting tossed down the Memory Hole. . Did they also burn "Fahrenheit 411"? Throw out all the Vonneguts? I read a short story by Kurt a while back where at some point in the future everyone would be made equal by the government to make things fair. If you were pretty, they would attach a few moles to your face. If you were fast and athletic you had to carry around weights in you pocket to slow you down. Orwell gets a lot of credit for predicting the future and rightly so, but Kurt was on top of it too.
  18. I propose we start a new thread called Thread Etiquette where we can discuss when to and when not to start a new thread. The punt return where Roberts got nothing and was mad reminded me of a post I read when we signed him that the great return he got for the Jets had a lot to do with the blocking he got. We won't get any big returns from him until we straighten that out.
  19. my life is going just fine thank you very much. top 10 according to who and by what criteria?
  20. Amen. I would like to see our D double cover and jam Edelman at the line on every play. Take a page out of BB's book, take away their biggest threat. And then also every so often single cover man to man the WRs and send everyone else after Brady on a jail break reddogblitz. One thing I know for certain is that if we only rush 3 or 4 and try to cover everyone, Tommy will eat our lunch. Seen it way too many times.
  21. I get what you're saying, but the rules put in by the league to play off the top the 10 in each conference is what I go by. That's all that really counts. And yes, the 7-9 Seahawks did beat the Drew Brees led Saints in the infamous "Beast Quake" game.
