  1. I think I have a pretty good idea what his stripes are after 2 years. Again maybe you're right and he just needed that talented QB/roster to make his process work in a non conservative fashion. But usually the best way to predict someone's future actions is to look at what they've done in the past. I really don't care so long as we win. That's all that matters.
  2. Good points. I'm just going by what I've seen on the field the last 2 years + 1 game. Maybe you're right, but I've learned that people don't change their stripes very often. As far as 17 passes, last year I saw him allow Derek Anderson run 4 double reverses in a row vs the Cheats**, so who knows? We'll find out this year. No excuses.
  3. Minorities get sum burns too. At least according to Ebony magazine. https://www.ebony.com/health/doctors-orders-yes-black-people-do-get-sunburn-405/
  4. Time is running out.
  5. Worked for us in 2017 and it we get ahead early I expect we'll see it again. Especially if our D remains stout. McDermott is a conservative coach. As long as we win is all that counts. There are no style points in ? football. Just win.
  6. I'm hoping we put a hurt on 'em and get some SB XXV revenge!
  7. he's going to wear a tie.
  8. Papa Bush was passive by putting 600,000 troops on the Iraq border, taking Kuwait back, and attacking Iraq.
  9. If Hillary is on the ticket as VP, Liz will never see the inside of the Oval Office unless she goes on a White House tourist tour. Anyone that wants to be elected should stay as far away from here as possible.
  10. Certainly seemed to be the case yesterday. But I'm still not ready to crown his ass as an accurate passer. The thing about Josh that has impressed me the most is his nack for coming through in the clutch. That's whey I changed my avatar to Roger, who was on of the best at this. Hoping Josh keeps it up. And continues to improve all parts of his game.
  11. Several candidates rail on about money in politics and the corrupt game in Washington. Liz is big on it. I for once want the moderator to ask her, how are you going to do that? This is how it's worked for the last 240+ years. You were in the place where all this corruption was going on. What did you do about it? I have some ideas. Term limits. Ban political advertising on TV (like cigarettes and weed in legal states).
  12. Troy Aikmen says the same thing FWIW. Not much evidence to the contrary. As someone who has questioned Josh's accuracy I was encouraged by a lot of what I saw yesterday. Of course he still has a lot of work to do. Coming through with the game on the line is another thing you are either born with or not.
  13. When your on the tax payers dime and money is no object you can do this sort of thing.
  14. Up by 2 TDs in the 2nd half they were hell bent on passing. Sort of reminded me of the Oilers in the greatest come back game. Their run game was not bad against us and our D had been out there all day.
  15. couldn't they have done this thing via Skype or something similar? Instead of each candidate having to destroy the environment to get there? It was OK for the little people asking questions.
  16. I was going to suggest Buffalo Buffaloes. Don't even have to change the logo. But this is cool too. I like it.
  17. This is one of Jason's last plays as a Bill. Nice blocking technique And hustle.
  18. I'm still stunned Chucky is doing this whole "rebuild" nonsense. I thought he'd try to land on a team with a QB on a team that's not that far away. I thought the Raiders fit with Carr and them going 12-4 two years before. I think he's nuts and very well may crash and burn.
  19. this sounds bad. From watching games however i can say he's had probably more bad balls thrown at him by Hotrod, Wonder Boy, and Derek Anderson than anyone.
  20. I wanted to join but it said I couldn't because it was full
  21. Do you think play calling had anything to do with this? seems quite a few here think we don't need a big receiver with great hands because we're gonna run a NE Smurf style offense. But even N E always had a big sure handed dude. And even though The Gronk was called a TE seemed when I watched most of the time he lined up like a WR and caught contested balls. A big dude with sure hands can do wonders for a QB with accuracy issues. Not all the balls are going to be right in there so it's good to have a guy that can catch those too.
  22. WOW. Just WOW. Duke ain't stayin' on PS long doin' that. Those passes were RIGHT on the money too.
