  1. Or anyone else's if she really does not want to run. Throw down a cloaked insult to a narcissist and you know what will happen. I guess if you're a narcissist yourself you might no know that though.
  2. This is so true. I had high hopes for the internet when it started to come together in the mid to late 90s. Universities were putting their knowledge out there. I would search for it with archie (not the cartoon character. look it up if you don't know what it is). Awesome, all the world's information available at our fingertips. Was going to be an equalizer where you could run a business and compete with the IBMs of the world and no one would know you were just a Mom and Pop Shop. Then big bidness got in with armies of programmers and advertising etc which has now turned it into the huge mess it is. Like anything else I guess. Nothing is all good or all bad. But there sure is a lot of crap out there to sort through in the quest for truth and knowledge. And even then you never really know if it's true or not. Almost feels like I have less information sometimes.
  3. Believe 50% of what you read, and 25% of what you hear, and .00000000000000000000000001% of what you read online. It.is the world's greatest disinformation device ever invented so far after all.
  4. When they showed her during the game I figured she had a new show coming up or something. That's usually the reason they show these people. This is the America we live in now where a person has to justify who they went to a football ? game with.
  5. I like the look on the guy's face with the man bun when she's talking about black people. And I like the dude that says he trusts people that are trained regardless of race or sex and he has to educate a member of congress to this. Sad.
  6. Not scientific but on the Bengals game last week they said he was pretty much ready but he was being cautious because he wants to come back 100% for the stretch run in his contract season. I think it's good to get a guy on his contract year because he's $uper motivated to play well and catch a lot of pa$$e$. Go for it unless the price is too high..
  7. And Rob Johnson played for Chuckie in Tampa Bay. Rob was QB when TB broke the sub 40 jinx in a 15-0 (5 FGs) win vs Chicago.
  8. We just need a W someway somehow and I couldn't care less how we do it.
  9. yeah, and next year we play the AFC West, ie KC and an improved Raiders team and the Chargers and the NFC West, ie Seattle, Rams, and 49ers. This year we got a slumping AFC North and except for maybe Dallas and Philly, a bad NFC East. Timing is everything. There is no time like the present.
  10. With that attitude you certainly won't. I disagree because you never know what tomorrow will bring. We have no idea what will happen between now and then. What if say we get it all together are going to really go for it and then in the 2nd pre season game Wonder Boy gets a season ending injury. Or what if we have a good year and Daboll and Frazier get HC jobs elsewhere and we're starting off with 2 new coordinators. Or what if Coach McDermott decides to take the HC job at Auburn? We were there at the end of 2014 thinking we pretty much had arrived only to have our HC quit the day after the season. You never have the perfect team. We got darn good team now. Let's make a run at this thing right here right now.
  11. My spouse is from Rochester and we meet people from the area all the time. And as she talks to them numerous times it's been someone that knows a lot of the same people. There are Bills fans everywhere. It is amazing. I've met them in all part so the country and world. When we finally hit it and are really good and win playoff games etc, it will be crazy.
  12. It's fine as it is. Just win your division. We are very much still in the division race. Don't sell ourselves short. One thing is certain. If they were to change this rule the next year we would win the division at 8-8 and have to play on the road.
  13. I don't understand why so many TBDers have this attitude of we don't wanna do too much now because really, it's in 2021 we will be good enough to compete or whatever. Why are you so concerned about 2021? We're strong and pretty much the rest of the AFC is weak. We even almost beat the Patsies** and should have. We're ready to compete RIGHT NOW. if we can improve our chances without a big investment even if it only helps us THIS YEAR is worth it IMHO. And, if we do compete and say win a playoff game that will improve our chances of getting better FAs next year. If the rest of the AFC weren't weak and we hadn't shoulda woulda coulda beat the Patsies** I'd agree with you. You can never count on what next year brings. I remember in the late 1990s we thought we were close to being back with a dominant D only to have another team in our division come out of nowhere and dominate. The table is set. THIS is our year. Go for it. Maybe it's just me, but I'm tried of waiting til next year. Just win.
  14. Does anyone else besides me think that on that on punt from around mid field where we had a delay of game penalty that it was on purpose? So we could move back and Bojo wouldn't clobber it out of the back of the end zone?
  15. I do. At a similar juncture in the 2017 season Coach McDermott started telling the players we had a real shot for playoffs. Then they traded for KB to strengthen their chances. Whether you liked KB or not is immaterial. they made the move to improve playoff chances. This is year is similar but we're better and the rest of the AFC is weak expect for a couple of teams. We should go for it. We could make some serious noise in this year and even a playoff win. We're 4-1. Only one team has give up less points than us in AFC. A lot of teams are playing scrubs at QB. The table is set. We need to take advantage. Josh can maturate and win at the same time. A top notch WR could help increase that. I'm not saying sell the ranch and be like George Allen's over the hill gang, but if you could get AJ for Zay and a third go for it I say. The days of putting off winning are over. It's time to win. Do what it takes. Next year we could be a little better and think it's time only to have the rest of the conference be better. Strike while the iron is hot.
  16. Totally cool. It is a Bills jersey after all. And it shows you are a true fan who has been through it as opposed to a Johnny Come Lately in an Oliver jersey. When I go to a game at the Ralph i get a kick out of some of the old jerseys I see. And yes, a few years ago I saw a lady in a Maybin jersey. buy yeah, wear whatever jersey you want. as for me, I'm going with Flutie on Sunday.
  17. I'm gonna disagree with this. What I saw was after another dumb pick, was Daboll being very animated and obviously yelling as his head was bobbling while yelling and then he made an exaggerated full hand gesture pointing at his own head. Obviuosly.yelling THINK.or something similar.
  18. The ole Rookie Treatment. Blitz him until he proves he can beat it.
  19. We started out the game with those same kind of plays on the first couple of drives, but Josh badly missed on short passes to guys wide open. Maybe he connects on a few of those and it's a different story? Did Daboll call the play for Josh to hold on to the ball and then hop off his back foot and lob it into the air resulting in an easy pick? Was Daboll yelling at Josh to use his head because he was calling bad plays? I WILL criticize Daboll however for not giving Gore a couple carries on that last drive. Very well could have broken one.
  20. I'm not sure. The whole reason why people like Troy Aikmen and I and many others say accuracy can't be taught is because of exactly what we saw Sunday. You can work on stuff and footwork until the cows come home but when under pressure in a real game you fall back to old habits. The one that concerns me the most was the play where he was not under a ton of pressure but instead of stepping into it like I'm sure he and Jordon Palmer worked really hard in the off season, he falls on old habits and hops off his back foot and lobs it up in the air resulting in an easy pick. It's like the old Mike Tyson saying "Everybody has a plan until you get hit in the mouth." Go BILLS !!
  21. Especially if he's your "franchise QB" (whatever that is) you don't want to risk injury for him and have to depend on Barkley like we did Sunday. A lot of QBs come into the league thinking they are going to revolutionize the QB position by running AND passing. Roger Staubach, Donovan McNabb, and Randall Cunningham immediately come to mind. After getting creamed a few times they re think that and become pocket passers and have greater success. I hope Josh follows this path and we see him run leas and pass better. But I agree. The designed runs to our franchise is our running around getting hit by big guys trying to put him out of the game. He's already been injured twice running the football. I can only think of one who said screw it I'm gonna run anyway nd that was Michael Vick. The Cheats** were also blitzing the pants off of him. That didn't help.
  22. In yards or something maybe. But we're 23rd in points, which is what really counts.
  23. Isn't it about time for him to get his teeth cleaned again?
