Hope they stopped practice to finish.

I'd use the word stupid rather than sad. Stupid on Cardinals end for agreeing to a contract with a player for that much money when you have concerns over these issues. Since it's independent study, how will they really know? I'm sure as we speak Murray has already hired a dog trainer to teach his dog how to hit the correct spot on the tablet so it keeps changing pages and how to hit the forward and reverse buttons for a video so it appears he's doing something while he sips a drink poolside.

Think Indy as long as Ryan plays half way decent. Can't count on 3 years of amazing play by Henry and getting away with Tannerhill at QB and no Brown.

WRT: #3 Also add in a number of new players, Crowder, Shakir, Austin, Cook, (think I'm leaving one out) #4 Agree #5 I can't do what Tre is doing and I didn't tear my knee up! #7 Think it's more punt gods spot to lose that Haack winning it. Bills know there's no way they could cut him and ever sneak him onto the PS

One name I haven't seen mentioned in the this thread is OJ Howard. Did he get in much and do anything?

That too!

I'd think McKenzie starting out with the 1's is more courtesy as the incumbent. Could also be one of these where every day they alternate. Nick Tahou's! Have to say their website is impressive!

That's also why they don't charge for admission. Recall years back Washington charged admission to training camp. As soon as you do that scouts from other teams are now allowed in and can film. So Skins dumped that idea rather quickly. That was probably 20 years ago when that happened, rules may have changed since, but back then was how it worked.

OK, guess I was thinking those guys signed before camp. So maybe not anything different yet then than prior years. I'd imagine signing Edmunds would free up the most cash of all, but could be they are far apart on agreed value.

Wow, lived in Rochester for 30 years, been gone now for about 15 years. Don't recognize any of those names. Admittedly breweries weren't that popular yet 15 years ago. As Bob Dylan once said, The times they area changing! Will say, I am surprised that haven't yet heard of any extensions . I thought there's be a good chance before camp opened would have heard about extensions for some of the following; Edmunds, Oliver, Proyer, and Knox.

Taron Johnson on the outside.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to billvernsays's topic in The Stadium Wall
So does that also mean in your view Cook will start over Singletary as if you're not drafting a 3rd rounder to be a backup, you certainly wouldn't draft a 2nd rounder to be a backup. From everything I've read the long term plan may be to replace Milano with Bernard in 2 years. Assuming the sign Edmunds in two more seasons Milano's contract gets pretty big, so if Bernard looks like the real deal, he then takes over as the starter and Milano is released. Maybe if they are playing a run heavy team like Titans or Indy and their #1 QB is out, then maybe they go with three LB's, but that still has nothing to do with Johnson. The only was Johnson moves outside would be if White isn't ready in September and they decide that either Jackson or Elam is no way ready to start, but that's not likely. Or some injuries pile up, but even the a better chance they'd trade or sign a FA CB first. The main reason most teams play 3 LB's in running situations is because they don't want to reply on their nickel CB to make tackles, but Johnson has proved to be strong in that area, so basically the Bills base defense is 5 in the secondary including Johnson as he provides above average support against the run. So even if Johnson were to somehow move outside, very likely you'd still only see 2 LB's on field and 5 back. Maybe in pre-season you may see three LB's on field often, but that means nothing come September. -
Did you see the other three nominees? A Womans Elite 8 March Madness game, U-Conn against don't recall; The Kansas comeback with over UNC for the Mens basketball championship; and the 4 overtime Iron Bowl win by Bama over Auburn. Don't think in past year saw such little competition to win.

The Worlds Number 1 Sport
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in Off the Wall
OK good to see. I don't follow soccer nearly as much as basketball and the names themselves. So to me basketball seemed to be catching up fast, but maybe not. -
The Worlds Number 1 Sport
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in Off the Wall
That's one thing I like about watching the Olympics, the uncommon sports like team handball, water polo, there's a 3rd one get to watch every 4 years. Don't really understand many of the rules but neat to watch. Or curling in the winter games. -
Was talking with someone today and commented how Soccer has always been considered the worlds #1 sport. Got me thinking, is that still the case or has basketball taken over? 30 to 40 years ago the world centered around the Americas and Europe. Now Asia and even Australia paint a much wider swath and not sure soccer has as large of the following there. Even in Europe basketball seems to be much more popular than in the past.

Josh Allen Making Bill Mad: A Hype Video
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will say this I'm really amazed Belichiick has never done a commercial for Microsoft the way he also throws tablets. Be surprised if he wasn't asked at some point -
Could be too that Beane first wants the dust to settle on the Proyer contract situation, maybe a Knox extension and any late unexpected signings either due to some team releasing a good player that fills a need Sept 1st or Bills need to sign someone due to training camp injury. Maybe he signs a new deal right before week one once team has a better handle on $$ available.

Will Medicare cover TBD discussion under Telemed?

Not specific to her, but in general, can that also happen from long plane ride or long anything not moving around legs much? Person I worked some years back with was on a 10 hour or so plane ride, 3 days later he was dead. He also was a heavy smoker and drinker which doesn't help. Never heard an official cause of death for him. But didn't stop people from speculating! LOL

Club Seats? 200 level, how are these different?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
About 20 years ago Wegmans had a contest every week where people would win tickets to a game in the Wegmans suite. One week somebody must have won who wasn't a football fan and could care less so sold his tickets and I bought them for $75 a piece. Good deal on the ticket cost! The amazing food we got was Wegman's subs and Wegman's brand chips and soda. -
Epenesa, Ford & Moss -Are they outta here?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ford agree could be gone, depends how many lineman they keep and likely come down to him, Mantz, and VanRoten. IMO they will keep two of the three. Ford has been given multiple chances and so far hasn't worked out. The one thing Ford has going for him is a relatively cheap contract, though don't know how that compares with the other two as believe Ford is due about $2.5 mil this season. Epenesa and Moss likely are safe this year. They've never really been penciled in as the starter as there was someone else on the roster who was perceived to be better whereas Ford was given the chance to start and failed at 2 different positions. No shame in being beating out by a 1st rounder or well seasoned vets. Epenesa and Moss also has had a rough road to the NFL in that no rookie mini camp or pre-season games their first year. Thought even in year 2 there were still some restrictions. Anyone drafted two years ago has had a tougher time, some have worked out, some have taken longer. Also seems like Epenesa still hasn't figured out what the correct weight is he should be playing at to be strong enough, but not give up speed. Could argue they have 1.5 season of NFL experience at this point. Moss also has advantage as on paper gives the Bills RB room something that none of the others in that room possess, size! For that reason he likely will stick. Duke Johnson would have to clearly bet him out for him to be cut. Epenesa on the other hand doesn't really give them anything different than their other DE's have. So for him while I think this season he's safe, he will need to take a big step forward to make it to season 4 with the team.
