Hers' the article from the Athletic website, the quote I posted is from the paragraph about Morse. I don't have anything from the post game press conference, that's why I was asking as would have thought someone would have posted Morse's comments as this article made it sound like he stated something rather "pointed" https://theathletic.com/2236937/2020/12/03/bills-2021-salary-cap/ -

It's on the Athletic site behind paywall. The context was in an article about whom the Bills might cut next year to save money and that they didn't play him the week prior so the team may be ready to move on. Then stated that Morse made a comment after the game about it. Hadn't seen/heard anything prior. -
Reading an article in today's Athletic. It states: Morse’s comments after the game made it sound as if the coaching staff sent him a message by leaving him out of the lineup in Week 10. I don't recall hearing or reading anything, Does anyone know what he stated?

Read the other day story about Klein and he commented how he had never played the position/role the Bills were asking him to play so took some time for him to figure things out. Makes me wonder if that was part of Edmunds issue to, that too often he was trying to cover for Klein being out of position or something, or at least watching him out of the corner of his eye for help rather than reacting first himself? No one knows defenses like Rex!!

Black Monday is coming (UPDATE: is here!).....

I don't know. Personally I think Rob Ryan and Twiggy would still make the fattest combo! -
No necessarily, one thing I've read is they may average the 2021 and 2022 caps and use that number in 2021, That would again then be the 2022 base plus any of the normal gains from year to year that tends to boost it a few million more than projected the year prior. Considering in 2022 the new TV deals should be done, that few million gain could be come a huge gain that could push it higher than todays 2022 projected.

Top Drafting Teams in the NFL
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bart Starr was drafted in the 17th round! Don't think Green Bay is exactly an example of great drafting of QB's Granted the 17th round back then was only the 200th pick. LOL ONE overall pick lower than ol Tommy boy!! -

Just read an article in today's BN stating the issue is Rosen and Lurie needs to fire him first. https://buffalonews.com/sports/football/jeffrey-lurie-is-the-only-person-who-can-fix-the-eagles-fixing-his-front-office/article_11612d57-4f14-56cf-81e2-c84908390d2c.html -
Tight End stat sheet as of Dec. 1

Ton of weapons?? Diggs, Beasley, Brown, Davis, McKenzie, Knox/Kroft, Singletary Vs Allan, Williams, Guyton, Reed, Johnson, Henry, Ekeler Really, yes LA is better at TE and good at WR, but think I'd take the Bills overall WR group and would have a hard time believing Chargers have more overall weapons. -
As soon as you put Tomlin in there you lost me as this being great coaches. He's lucky he hasn't been fired. He also benefited many years of not having much competition in division other than Ravens and they've had their share of bad seasons too. What exactly has Vrabel done? Shanahan is that the guy that's the coach of the 5-6 49's and is 28-31 lifetime? Reid makes the list for lifetime achievement and one SB victory. Similar with Payton, but not nearly as long a career as Reid. There's Belichick and maybe Reid and Payton, then a bunch of guys who may look great some years and other years very average.

Romo as full time Brady apologist...
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Jamie Mueller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well the problem is this year, home field will be worth much less than in prior years. No screaming fan and outside of Green Bay, there's really not any bad weather cities either, worst of the rest could be Giants stadium or maybe Seattle. Yes going 8-0 in division helped, but he still did OK in playoffs -
Romo as full time Brady apologist...
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Jamie Mueller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The nerve!! Oh my God!! OK so who has so much of a better shot at making the SB from the NFC if not Tampa? Saints, yeah if Brees is healthy and even then Brees isn't the same guy as he was a couple years ago. Seattle, with that defense, maybe. Green Bay, they've been as erratic as Tampa Bay and can say the same about LA too and probably even AZ. What QB has the best track record of playing at a higher level in the playoffs? I can't think of anyone other than ole Tommy boy! They have a good shot at playing the NFC East division winner in the first round of playoffs. Love him or hate him he is still the GOAT It's kind of funny that you go out of your way to start a thread condemning Romo for giving what you feel is undeserving praise to Brady, and then you go out of your way to give undeserving blame to him. -

Speaking of roster moves, did the Bills fill either of the slots yesterday caused by the move of Ford and Brown to IR? I'm assuming they'd keep one open for next week when Milano returns, but was wondering if they did fill the other one. Didn't specifically hear anything?? -

I've come really close a few times to putting my hand through a florescent light tube right over my chair. How it didn't break when I hit it is very surprising. -

Saw a replay today, he stared the guy down after spinning the ball so it seemed to be deliberate on Allen's part. Maybe there was jawing earlier that caused that reaction by Allen?? -

Milano and AJ together?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The original plan was the three would be starting LB's and likely Klein would come out on passing plays. Kleins play of late may have changed that where you leave him in as an extra standing lineman to blitz from different spots. That may in some cases be better than an extra DB on he field -
Lets not a say we did! What I will say, the season started with idea of( like last season with Lorax), taking Klein out on likely passing downs. Klein's play of late may change that, instead you keep him on the field lining up all over the place and blitz, then on occasion to mix it up let Klein go back in coverage and blitz either Edmunds or Milano. But maybe you keep all three LB's on field much more than initially planned.
