NFC East and AFC South so yeah not too much there other than Tenn. Bills and Denver are the two crossover games Suppose you can even make the same argument about Baltimore as they have the same schedule except crossover games are KC and NE.

My only concern, not that it's on Allen in any way, but how many sacks he had. Are other teams going to blitz like crazy. Do think if Morse and Ford are back, things may be much better on the line. Morse was on the sidelines during the week, guessing he'll at worse be back the game after the bye if not next week. Don't recall what was Fords injury last couple of weeks? Did he re-injure the ankle or is this a new completely different injury?

You forgot about DB, IMO that should be #1 , then LN in 2nd. Assuming they could resign Feleciano and Williams, then O line 3rd or 4th round or even lower. Or maybe trade down and pick up an extra 2nd, though hard to trade down if drafting #32! In reality likely will be picking somewhat low probably below #20. Money will be tight to sign players due to reduced cap, but will all teams will have the same issue.

While it was only one game I'll vote for Feleciano as the difference last week in the run game was pretty amazing. Maybe it wasn't because of him, but sure seemed like the last year revisited again with him in the lineup.

I didn't find stats separating offensive vs defensive penalties so all I have is totals, but in the first four games that were wins, the Bills averaged 5.75 penalties a game, the last four, 7.25, not a huge sounding difference, but included in those last four were 10 against Tenn and 11 against the Jets. What kept the numbers half way decent in the last four games were only 4 penalties against KC, a game in which they came about a tenth of a second from recovering a fumble fairly deep in KC territory, a TD there would have put the Bills ahead late in the game. In the Jets game nine times they had the ball within the 35 yard line and came away with no TD's Actually one was called back because of Davis not lining up correctly on the LOS. Another time 1st and goal, holding penalty and maybe was there another 5 yard penalty afterwards too or they lost that on a bad play call. The NE game in fairly windy conditions was all about running the ball, they didn't try that much to push the ball down the field, took what the defense gave them. My point is not so sure the passing game would have lost that much without the team shooting themselves in the foot as much as they have. On top of that defenses are taking away the deep passing game, forcing them to throw underneath and run which before last week, they weren't able to. If they can continue to run the ball, will force defenses to change, then lets see how they look.

They were 2-2 in the four games and the two they lost certainly weren't because of Allen. Did he play great, as good as the first four games, no. But the defense couldn't stop anything. The KC they were trying to run the ball with very little success to keep KC 's offense off the field and at the same time KC ran all over the bills to the tune of 37 minutes of possession. So in 22 minutes they had the ball they scored 17 points. So as to the scoreboard, we're 6-2

Will be surprised if he plays the following week, likely the plan is sit the next two games, then a bye week, bring him back after that or if need be sit longer. I assume bye weeks count towards IR time? So if they put hit on IR today, in 3 weeks he could come back for the Chargers game on the 29th?

Agree think he will be gone from Michigan, but does an NFL team really want him?

I have heard too that he may be ready to leave Michigan but is that really a good idea? I know he took San Fran to the SB, but wasn't he one of these guys who tended to burn out his players. At least in college every 4 years or there about, you cycle thru an entire new group. Granted with free agency in the NFL there is much churn, but not as much if you have good players.

Last two games a total of 3 punts. That to me says the offense is moving the chains, but then self destruct at key times. Admittedly a couple of those bad plays were on Allen, but overall Allen is gaining yards, just having a little more trouble getting TD's than we did earlier. If the running game can continue doing what it did this past week, that should help reopen the passing game more.

I don't know in both the Tenn and KC game the Bills set out to stop one thing, Henry running and KC passing and they did, but then Tenn passing and KC running hurt them. Not sure Lamar passing could do that much damage?

Pitt and KC are both decidedly better than Buffalo unless the Bills can straighten out the defense. If they can, they'd be up there with them too. Agree, Lamar may be figured out.

He was trying to throw the ball away, but his foot was 2 inches out of bounds when he threw it. Likely he thought that last step, he'd still be in bounds. The int appeared to be more on Diggs than Allen. Conditions weren't the best this week for throwing first off so OK with running more. After week 4, teams figured out they needed to stop Allen from throwing deep and they did. So the only thing left was underneath throws and running the ball which wasn't working at all. If they can keep running like they did this week, teams will need to again respect the run and not play as many deep which will open up the passing game again.

I'm not sure he makes any moves either mainly because there are too many holes that need plugging. The only move I could see him making would be one that would beyond this year, but can't see him going for a one year rental.

Does make you wonder how him and his brother are perceived around the league. If others who coached with BB couldn't succeed on their own, can't see these two meatheads working out. I do wonder if BB will pressure Kraft into giving them some type of promotion they don't deserve or are qualified for. Kraft out of long term respect for BB may go along with it too.

Yeah it's alot easier when the biggest task you have is to just go and cash the check and not have to do any work. But likely long term they could make more with running their own network. Maybe they will look for some way to kick the can down the road a little with some short term deal that allows them to just keep cashing checks, but start to get their feet wet so they are all ready to jump into the deep end..

Yes read that too, that's what makes me question the Knox situation a bit.
