  1. Couple comments: On the 1st drive on the pass to Smith in the endzone that was behind him. Think that was actually a perfect thrown pass by Josh as he threw it to the empty spot. The issue may been that smith doesn't have enough experience as a pass receiver to realize he needed to drift back to the open spot. Allen assumed he'd slide back and if he didn't would be incomplete, but no Int. If it were Diggs or Beasley, they'd likely have drifted back for an easy catch. On the Int by White, watching live I thought the receiver caught the ball, my initial thought was he stopped just short or was it a TD? Never saw that White some how came up with it, even watching the replay in slow motion, was amazed to see how White got that ball. Agree about Knox, played a solid game, he has the skills and athleticism that few TE's in the league have. He was never asked to do much offensively in college, like Allen could take a couple years to develop. Plus with WR on the team and such a strong armed QB, not sure TE will ever become a big part of offense, but knox still provides a legit decoy that needs to be accounted for.
  2. They did force him out of the pocket a fair amount, but he just calmly slide to the side and threw from there. Could consider that as pressure, just wasn't very effective. Half the QB's in the league that would work against.
  3. Why, would be shocked if he's back next year as based on how limited he's played, can't see him wanting to come back and can't see the Bills wanting to pay very much for someone inactive every week. These are the two the team drafted and will go with in the future, if they aren't completely happy could see him drafting a bruiser type RB, but doubt they have plans for Yeldon at all at this point since they haven't yet.
  4. Yeah reading more after I posted that including an entire article about how Ike became the starter, made me think the same. Thought could swear I did see Winters on the field early in the game. I also saw Winters listed on the graphic which made me assume that was the case that he started too.
  5. OK so after I posted this, saw there was another whole "Ike thread" and that stated Winters did start the game on the right side and Mongo on the left, but then they quickly benched Winters, shifted Feleciano over and put Ike on left side. Winters came back in for Mongo when he got nicked up, but that was about it for him. That may have been what I saw was Winters playing at the beginning of game.
  6. No this just doesn't work. You have to instant pro bowl level player or get rid of him. There's many threads here proving this is correct. Just see all the get rid of Bass threads for starters.
  7. OK so Winters started on the right side, Mongo on the left, but then quickly replaced Winters with Ike and moved Mongo to the other side? Was wondering about that as saw Winters started, then didn't notice much till Mongo got hurt, then only noticed came back in on right side.
  8. Wasn't just the Buffalo writers, many here did the same.
  9. Really?? I thought I saw the opposite, Winters started again, then Ike came in when Feleciano got hurt, but then when he came back in, he went to opposite side and they left Ike in??
  10. He came back, but thought I saw they had him playing on the other side and left Ike in instead of Winters.
  11. Didn't realize Louis Riddick's brother was Rob Riddick. Wasn't he the guy who dropped the TD in the playoff game against Cleveland?
  12. Not sure about the stache part, but the guy who came up behind Allen in his post game interview looks like he belonged in a porn movie, couldn't catch the number?
  13. Granted it was only one point, and only on the last day, but was this the Bills first win that they were the underdog this year?
  14. I'll add Knox too. Didn't do much, but caught everything thrown to him.
  15. Think this was the Bills best overall game of the year, offense, defense, special teams wasn't asked to do much, but no mistakes either, few penalties, no turnovers, 10 minutes more possession!
  16. From what I read the issue was different teams would have played different amount of conference games and then would made it hard to sort out who goes to conference championship game, Miami played one less game.
  17. If Knox and Epenesa are the difference between winning losing, we have more issues! They are both FA's so likely won't be here.
  18. Likely nothing (and same with Murphy) both are FA's at year end and they need to figure out what their heir apparent can provide. Do they need to get another edge rusher or is AJ an adequate replacement. Knox has been out most of the year, they need him to play. And guess they feel they want better blocking that Smith provides.
  19. Well if local time that would normally be after they announce the inactives and a little over an hour before kickoff, so must be east coast NFL headquarters time
  20. I'm the first one to laugh at the crusade of the year player here on TBD and would normally whole heartedly agree with you, but the fact that Aaron Rodgers was upset when he was let go, does potentially make him a bit different than Duke Williams. Will see, maybe it was just more a sign of how weak overall Greenbay's WRs group was.
  21. I didn't think kickers ever retired, they just keep waiting for the next desperate team to call which usually happens. George Blanda might still be fielding calls but hasn't found the right team fit so far.
  22. I don't know, Tirico is pretty damm good himself, you could argue NBC has the best two play by play people combined. Could be Michaels is trying to limit long coast to coast travels?
  23. Yeah think thats the first time I've ever seen that called.
  24. I'd also vote no on this. However I'll throw out another thought. The Bills have needs next year at CB, LB, Edge, O-line and TE. Depending whom they are able to re-sign and FA may fill some of these spots. But very likely not all, so could easily draft to fill one of these spots late on the first. However if Travis Etienne was available, would you throw all that out and grab him instead? Having a guy like that plus the WR group would may a really high dynamic offense.
  25. Agree that would make more sense. It's Saturday at 4:00 regardless whether you're playing at 1:00 or 8:30 in the evening. Sunday at 4:00 would be consistent. (likely the reason this is wrong)
