Agree, it likely will be next season before anything happens. -

I agree or he doesn't know the rule himself that where you start the slide is where they place the ball -
Wallace interception spot/Camera angles

I don't know, IMO he had this shocked look like what do you mean it's not a first down. Agree about the sliding part. -
Better technology for the game or fans? I completely agree the kick looked good but we're looking at an angle with no depth perception. I'll assume the official under the goal post does have the right angle and is able to make the correct call. Will they sometimes make a mistake sure, but other than putting a camera there just for the purpose to show a replay so fans watching on TV will have a better answer and maybe for the 1 out of 500 or so kicks that you need to take a better look at. But unless there's a camera on both posts still won't know for certain.

2-pt defense is concerning me

Agree, have we stopped any? -
Agree, the two he missed were both very questionable. Both looked like they could have been in.

Is he even available to play? Did you see the hit he took on his shoulder that took him out of the game. It was one of those plays I had to turn my head away on the replay as was cringe worthy. No official word but think it may be dislocated, minimum 1to 3 weeks out to 4 to 6 months if surgery needed

Dawson Knox needs to go....now.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Imagine if the Bills were just as impatient with Allen as people here are asking to do with Knox. He could be gone by now. Granted he shown more improvement in first two years than Knox has, but also parallels in that both had huge physical skills, but limited experience coming out and have needed time to develop. Well Kroft is a FA so will be interesting to see right there what the team thinks of Knox, if they go out an sign a better option or resign Kroft or do something else. Looking at the list of FA's, Hunter Henry and Jared Cook are the only two names I see on the list that are decent players that should be an improvement unless they want Gronk. There's a couple other names slightly better than Tyler Kroft so not much improvement there may as well, resign Kroft in that case. To me drafting a rookie isn't likely going to help as they are ready to win now. They say TE is one of the longer positions to learn so likely Knox would still beat out a rookie next season. -

Play by play doesn't list a penalty, just down at the 29 yard line. -
Wallace interception spot/Camera angles

Because when you slide the ball is marked by the beginning of the slide point. Guess the rule is such that once you slide you can't be hit much, you're giving yourself up as they say, so we're not going to give extra yards because you're a good slider. So was the right call. Could see the look on Allens eyes, he was surprised/pissed about it too. -

They never commented so I was wondering too, but likely they must have ruled him down by contact. OK just looked at the ESPN play by play and that states no return after the Int, so must have ruled him down on the catch. -
3 worst passing teams right now are...
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Ravens also have a running QB so their entire offense is geared around run first. Their QB is structured to run to set up the pass. Is that sustainable, probably not IMO and certainly have taken a step back this season. In the case of Cleveland, would be interesting to see Bakers stats for the past 6 weeks alone as do think he's improved as of late. As good as Allen, no but has looked better. If they lost their RB, could they survive on Bakers arm, while he's improved, don't think he's shown enough to think they could win games on his arm alone. -
Both PAT's missed too, can question if they were really out or not. Was very close.

Actually I graduated HS in 1973, but didn't live in the area and didn't follow them. I can recall OJ highlights and seeing a few of their games. Recall watching a late season Saturday game on TV with Ahmad Rashad playing in. Started following the Bills in 80's. -

Before my time, did the Bills go from Kemp to Ferguson? Or was there someone in between? May have been they were sou lousy in between, don't recall anyone else?? LOL! -
Who is more instrumental in building the Bills?

Interesting quote below from today's BN article on Beane. To me the answer to this question is both. McD needs to understand what the team needs, but Beane needs to figure out how to get it and how to pay for it within the framework they have. And alot goes into comments below Beane is already thinking about next year, but MCd needs to be on board with changes too and be moving in that direction. This may be why last two weeks both Kroft and Murphy were inactive. Can we talk about this guy, getting him in more in lineup because we need to develop him because we’re not going to be able to pay this other player? We can talk about the cap and where I see it going in the offseason. Sometimes it’s play a player to see if this guy has it. If he doesn’t, let’s find out now before we go into the offseason. -
I'm a fan of Knox and feel he still can become a very good TE in the league. Having said that the one part that would make me nervous abut this play is, does Knox catch it? That's a live ball if he drops it. Think I'd suggest getting a few more weeks of improved play from Knox, then save this one for the playoffs.

Mike Tomlin over or underrated
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he was a good coach that's been there too long and just isn't that highly effective anymore. Still good for 10 wins a year and make the playoffs, but not so sure he's going to be able to deliver a Super Bowl victory. He won the SB in his second year essentially with most of Cowler's roster, people have knocked Gruden for doing the same in Tampa, only difference there was prior coach Dungy was fired, here Cowler retired. Since then lost in one SB and one conference championship. Other years mostly had early playoff losses. -
Yes they have the best team in 20 years, but is it really good enough to win the Super Bowl and are they one of the top 4 teams in the league. They need improvement at CB, LB, O-line ( five lineman are upcoming FA) TE so can't see how they can afford to keep everyone when you have replacements with little drop off in talent. Throw in upcoming contracts to Allen, Edmunds, Hyde something needs to give. Brown was paid $8M at the time being looked at as the #1 WR on the team, now with Diggs here, paying that much to a #2 WR doesn't seem very smart. He may be back, but not on the existing contract, will likely need to take a big cut. On the line could see it coming down to a choice between Feleciano or cutting Morse to pay for him.
