  1. Cody Ford is the Bobby Hart of offensive guards, which is shocking considering he was the best lineman on a talented OU team. Don’t know what happened to the guy, but he’s far from even his rookie performances (which weren’t great, but steady). Also, part of me wants to blame Josh for bailing from a clean pocket multiple times, or refusing to step up when the rush is getting there wide, but I can’t blame him seeing as how the interior is trash. You can see he feels his only escape is out wide to his right.
  2. Josh is so shook in the pocket that even when he had lots of time and protection, he bailed out to his right and made his job harder than it has to be.
  3. Anyone going to cheer the team at the airport?
  4. This past offseason Ford was rehabbing an injury. I’m not prepared to totally close the book on him, even though chances are slim he’ll become another Wyatt Teller, but barring injury he should have an entire offseason to work on his body. And there’s a lot of work that needs to be done there.
  5. Haven’t watched the two rookie Chiefs OLineman play all that much (Humphrey & Smith), but apparently they’re doing extremely well. Glad the rest of that team hasn’t matched their level of play.
  6. Why spend a 2nd round draft pick on a proven, high quality guard like Norwell, when you can just draft the next Cody Ford. Kidding. Kinda. I’ll trust Beane knows what he’s doing, despite what appears to be a glaring weakness in the interior OL.
  7. Hopefully he’s not the one at fault, but a young athlete in a sports car usually suggests otherwise. Truly unfortunate.
  8. Nothing will be done about them or their ticky-tack/inconsistent calls until YOU, the viewer, decide to stop putting money into the machine. We all know that’s not gonna happen, so the refs will continue being a focal point of the action instead of what they’re supposed to be - rules overseers.
  9. Second half against the Steelers wasn’t pretty either.
  10. He told me “noted,” then proceeded to ask my opinion of other players 😂
  11. I’m ready to move on from Edmunds. Hopefully the FO isn’t still drunk with his potential and will be looking for his replacement in the off-season.
  12. I don’t think the running game is a running back problem. That said, I’d like to see either Singletary or Moss traded and Breida a game day backup to the other. Won’t happen though, we’d get next to nothing in a trade.
  13. Back when we needed a QB I was a big fan of taking a gamble on Mike White. Admittedly I hadn’t watched more than game highlights and his Senior Bowl performance, but I thought he looked the part and was surprised he lasted until the 5th round. Had forgotten all about him, thought he was still buried on the Cowpokes roster.
  14. I thought by rule that ball had to be put at the 1 yard line. Same as if it was touched out of the end zone first, but downed in the end zone.
  15. That opening miss to Diggs when he had tons of green grass in front of him kinda set the tone for the type of game this would be.
  16. Panthers have a solid defensive front, so it’s not surprising. He would’ve sat in Buffalo this year as well. We have multiple 2nd round DEs that aren’t even active.
  17. Josh is missing a few of those opportunities as well. Sanders was open to the left on a dig route a few weeks ago and the ball was thrown off target. Against the Titans Diggs was open on a similar route and again Allen missed the throw low and away. FGs were the result of both drives.
  18. I remember hearing that Maybin was getting rag dolled by Ed Wang in his first camp and the Bills brass was nervous about the pick.
  19. I know many don’t like Mahomie, but that’s super impressive for his Chiefs to be on this list the last four years.
  20. Hopefully Goodell is part of this mess. He’s done good things for the game, but I hate how soft the league has gotten under his rule. Give me a commish somewhere between Tagliabue and Goodell and we can get away from the “No Fun League” and flag football for QBs.
  21. And why do I think that if he was pressed into duty against the Bills, Jerry and co. still wouldn’t have sacked Tannehill.
  22. Allen’s deep throws on the run are a thing of beauty. His deep throws from the pocket are less consistent. At least he’s not air mailing them like the first two year though, more often than not he’s under-throwing receivers.
  23. The hold (and tackle) on Poyer as Henry ran past him for 76 yards was more egregious. If not for the hold, Poyer would’ve been in position to make the tackle. I don’t think the same can be said for the Titans’ special teamer. He wouldn’t have made the tackle anyway, too far and flat footed.
  24. Our second round drafting has been ABYSMAL for as long as I can remember. That’s an issue.
