  1. "We like our receiving core, Lee Evans is a premier receiver and Josh Reed got better. We also like what Roscoe brings, but we could draft another wide receiver at the right spot" "TKO moving inside is not an option that we are considering"
  2. "Angelo moving inside is a possible replacement for Fletcher, also the draft might produce someone" "I went a long time thinking, 'gosh our tackles are not producing, our tackles are not producing' but you have to have linebackers that attack, not just pursue" "Kevin Everett and Duke Preston need to make a big step forward"
  3. "We have to get better at stopping the run" "I think that the offensive line is our number one priority" "Yes, there will be another running back in here to challenge Willis McGahee, either free agency or the draft"
  4. I've also noticed that the San Diego rookie OT Marcus McNeill made it as an injury replacement. Some one needs to do some campaigning...
  5. I thought that if an OT went down with an injury, Jason Peters' name would be the first to pop up as an alternate in the Probowl. Jonathan Ogden is a scratch, so the league calls up the Patriots Matt Light?!?! He does more holding than a dance couple! After all of the All Pro lists and considerations that I have seen Peters' name on, why was he snubbed? Matt Light can't touch Jason Peters...
  6. I would ask any of the players: if you were coach of the Bears this season, at what point would you have replaced Rex?? ...you guys know how the media tries to divide teams.
  7. Whats the score? Who stood out besides Leonard?
  8. Taken from Profootball Weekly, so who knows what its worth - Following on the heels of some uncomplimentary comments about Buffalo in an interview in the current issue of Penthouse magazine, and the news that McGahee has fathered three children with three different women in the past two years, it appears as if RB Willis McGahee has further alienated a Bills brain trust that places a big emphasis on high character and morals. Add in the fact that agent Drew Rosenhaus has mentioned the desire to extend McGahee’s deal, which expires following the 2007 season, and word is the Bills are going to make addressing their RB situation a top priority this offseason. We hear the Bills are not likely to shop McGahee but that they would consider a trade offer if it were proposed to them. To give up McGahee, Buffalo would expect a first-round pick plus one of the following: a player, a late-round draft pick this year or a future draft pick. Rumors
  9. I don't understand why everyone is sooo enamored with Cato June, sure he has above average pass coverage capabilities, but he's an absolute liability in the run game. Toooo many missed tackles and too often caught out of position.
  10. I'd still pick the best ILB (P. Willis) over Branch if the two were both available when we pick. LBs are more versatile, I'd rather have a Ray Lewis per se, than a Marcus Stroud. If the draft started tomorrow, our top needs in order of importance are: 1) OG 2) ILB and 3) DT
  11. Thanks Jokeman, cleared that one up...
  12. The conclusion of the Jets/Pats half had me thinking about this... The Jet player was running on the field and trying to get as many yards as possible before the conclusion of the half. Now, if it was obvious that a player would not be able to get out of bounds before the clock expires, could that player purposely lateral the ball out of bounds before time expires in a half, thus stopping the clock? Anyone know the particulars on this one?
  13. Another point to make... I wonder what our red zone TD% is after the Houston game vs before the game. When the Bills used to get into the red zone, scoring a TD was rare (overachieving almost), now, I expect them to score a TD whenever they get down there! Talk about change of mindsets, even down to the fans!
  14. Obviously, the first would have to be the OLine shakeup after the bye week, but the other??? I think we all need to send XMas cards to the Houston Texan's organization for deciding to pass the ball on 3rd and 2. Nevermind the fact that they were running all over us that game with some guy named Lundy, but enabling us to stop the clock (with that incomplete pass) and subsequently produce a game winning drive, has changed this team's confidence level - starting with the guy who produced the drive - JP Losman.
  15. I guess I need to watch their entire drive as opposed to the last 4 plays before posting huh?
  16. Playcalling... yes he was getting rid of his passes quicker, but there was also never a DL/LB/DB in his face gettin ready to sack him either. On another note, did you see how AZ Oline was blowing CHI off the ball? Wow...
  17. 7 out of 8 "experts" pick a winless team to win their upcoming NFL game... Thoughts? ESPN "Expert" Picks
  18. Im sorry I may be mistaken, but I thought that there were other games this Sunday other than the TO's and Eagles?! 20 min into that show and all I've heard is TO this and TO that... this show sucks!! By the way, Mort read off some news and mentioned a few WRs, at the conclusion of this news his statement, "So there you go, news about wide receiver's without one mention of 'you know who'." Im thinkin, well you just mentioned that you didnt mention him, therefore mentioning him, right?
  19. Somebody posted this site last game and it worked, Im going to see if I can find a station carrying the game - http://www.thegamelive.com/footballnfl.html
  20. Anyone out there want to try and compute where this loss puts us before CBS does?
