  1. Ok, I’m all for letting the draft come to you and never trading up again ?
  2. No QB gets away with intentional grounding more than Brady. Its infuriating they won’t call it.
  3. Would it have been better to draft Lamar at 23 and retain those 2 second round picks we traded for Allen? ?
  4. I posted in another thread, but Taylor had almost as many solo tackles in this one game (3) as Star does on the entire season (4). His one TFL is also 0.5 more than Star has on the year.
  5. ESPN has the opposite: Browns (-2.5) and their matchup predictor has the Browns chances of winning at 59.6%.
  6. In this one game against the Redskins, Vincent Taylor had almost as many solo tackles (3) as Star has all season (4). Taylor’s one TFL also exceeds Star’s 0.5 TFL on the season. I’d like to hear the Star apologists defend those numbers. EDIT: before I’m told “it’s not Star’s job to make tackles” consider a true space eater like Ted Washington averaged close to 50 tackles per season which equates to 3 a game.
  7. You realize those aren’t Josh’s legs? Looks like all they did was replace his face. Everything else is identical to the Rabb pic, all the way down to the creases in the uniform.
  8. Anyone who says that having the ability to throw the ball up and down the field doesn’t equate to much (in the passing game era) is simply a lost cause for this discussion.
  9. All this talk about the run defense, I just want an offense that can hold its own in the passing game era. That’s all I want for Christmas.
  10. Guess you missed the part where I said his size, measurables, and collegiate production were worth the 74th selection. On a team that needed a WR. It wasn’t a revisionist post.
  11. I love Singletary and think he’ll be a good player in this league for a long time, but the Bills create their own holes. I would’ve much rather gone into the season with Lesean McCoy and 3rd round draft pick Terry McLaurin. This isn’t a revisionist post based on the success Scary Terry has had thus far. The team needed a WR. McLaurin had good size, elite speed, and a productive college career. I thought he was worth a flyer. Adding Singletary when we had much more pressing needs felt like adding Spiller when Lynch and Jackson were already in the fold. RBs can be found in almost any round, the Bills continue to overvalue the position.
  12. Daniel Jones 300+ yards and 4 TD passes in a loss.
  13. To be honest, Allen looks worlds better than I thought he would coming out of Wyoming. I thought he’d be an instant bust. He hasn’t been that, but I don’t think he’ll ever be a franchise level QB. He didn’t throw for many yards or TDs in college and that’s transferring over to the NFL thus far. He just doesn’t have the mind that makes the game look easy.
  14. I’m all for moving Tremaine to the outside and drafting a natural MLB next year. Tremaine could continue calling the D until the rookie is ready. Also need at least one legit run stuffing DT. Harrison Phillips is close to being that, but I’d love someone like Damon “Snacks” Harrison since Mt. Washington can’t be cloned.
  15. Right now? He’s looked better than Allen all season. Jags lucked up finding him, he reminds me of a young Tony Romo. Elsewhere around the league, Drew Brees got off the couch and threw for almost 400 today.
  16. Yes, unless the Eagles choose the direction. If that happens the Bills will get the ball again. Only seen that a few times, always when wind was involved.
  17. The way I understand it, the Eagles have to pick to receive the ball, or the direction.
  18. Doesn’t matter how many points the Patsies have, they never stop trying to score. That’s a mindset I’d like our HC to adopt.
  19. Thanks for posting this... Beasley had a safety in his area, but not close enough to break up the pass had it gone to him. It also stands to reason the safety was shading the left side of the field because that’s where Josh was looking. Had he looked at Beasley after the PA the safety most likely would’ve had closer coverage. This is exhibit A for “move the safety with your eyes,” but in this case there wasn’t a need since Duke got open on his man. I’d like to see Josh manipulate the defenders more though. He’s too quick to escape a clean pocket rather than standing in there and scanning the full field.
  20. I have to see the All-22, but on that pass to Duke it looked like Beasley was running uncovered on the right side of the field for an even bigger gain.
  21. I thought we were getting a Dermontti Dawson/Kevin Mawae type of center in Morse, but that’s not the case. Feliciano could’ve played in the pivot for far less and the line would look relatively the same. That’s unfortunate.
  22. You still have to find those WRs and accurately deliver the ball. There’s no question Allen leaves many plays on the field.
  23. Every other QB has put up video game numbers against the Dolphins and they came into this game missing a couple starters in the secondary. Think about that if Allen continues to struggle.
