  1. The defense needs a heartbeat somewhere in the front 7. A guy who’s an emotional leader and always has to be accounted for. Those players don’t grow on trees, so like QB, I suspect they’ll be looking for awhile.
  2. D can’t get off the field, O can’t sustain drives (three 3 & outs), it’s a losing recipe, but we’ve still got the entire second half to get it right.
  3. Wouldn’t say Edmunds is trash, but so far in his career he hasn’t proven to be an impact player, someone who must be accounted for. And I’m not sure he’ll ever develop those instincts and playmaking ability, but he is young.
  4. Let me guess, you have at least 3-5 repetitive posts on this thread about taking players out of the game.
  5. I know I could just simply stop reading this thread, but can we put a moratorium on the number of “get the starters out!” posts? Never knew we had so many scary posters here.
  6. Bill Belichick is considered arguably the greatest HC of all time... Does anyone know his record without Brady at QB? Hint: it’s not pretty.
  7. Milano plays the way I wish Edmunds would play
  8. “I wanna celebrate, but we’re down right now. I’ll be back.”
  9. Absolutely no energy tonight. Both teams are flat.
  10. At least there’s somewhat of an argument for a completed pass - he did have control for 3 steps before the ball was raked out. In real time it looks like an obvious incomplete pass, in slo mo it looks complete given the rules of the game. I think the non reversal on the Kroft “interception” was far worse than this call. There’s no argument for that one.
  11. That hit is not a penalty in Paul Tagliabue’s league, just a well-timed hard hit that dislodged the ball from the wide receiver. In Roger Goodell’s league it’s a penalty every time. You’re not allowed to hit with violence anymore unless that player already possesses the football.
  12. And to consistently diagnose offensive plays...
  13. Go back and watch Edmunds on that TD run. He was more lost than Hansel and Gretel.
  14. Bring back London Fletcher.
  15. Is there such thing as a dominate defense anymore?
  16. I’m not sure Tremaine is instinctive or physical enough to stay in the middle. He doesn’t have to be a Ray Lewis intimidating type of presence, but he does need to be a sure tackler and physical. He’s a coverage linebacker and that’s fine, but I’d play him on the outside next season.
  17. Do we know this to be the case? I heard McDermott was staying out of Daboll’s way. The lulls seem to be a lack of fire or focus after halftime. Perhaps it’s different if the Bills were trailing or in a close game, either way they need to stop being so complacent.
  18. Bills total points by quarter: Q1: 21 Q2: 17 Q3: 0 Q4: 20 This is why the Jets and Dolphins were able to narrow the score and get back in the game. Something has to be done about those 3rd quarters.
  19. So much for that vaunted Jets run defense...
  20. Can you imagine if a high profile QB tested positive a couple days before the Super Bowl? Does anyone really believe he’d be forced to sit out the game?
  21. Team lacks a killer instinct, not sure how that can be acquired.
  22. I can’t help but wonder if Rosen was drafted by the Bills and afforded the same level of stability and support as Allen, would he still be a dumpster fire? I do think superstars will become what they were destined to be, but only if given a real chance to succeed. No doubt in the history of the league there were perennial All Pro players riding a bench who never got that chance and thus bounced around or were out of the league in a few years. Granted, it’d probably take less than ten fingers to count the number of those players.
  23. Never used to care for Brown because I thought he was always too rosy about the Bills, but in the last few years I’ve noticed those rose colored glasses started to come off. He started to have more of an opinion and actually criticized some areas. I LIKED that Chris Brown, so I am sad to see he’s been suspended for reporting relatively mundane news, I don’t think that specific content should be in violation of the team’s mandate, but that’s another issue.
  24. I’m black and the comment doesn’t bother me much. The “haha” at the end of the statement implies an off color joke, made in what he believed to be a private conversation. Now if there’s clear cut evidence of mistreatment of Black or Hispanic teammates in his past, that’s a fireable offense. This? A teaching moment. Let’s move on, Bills fans.
  25. I like “Moss Sauce” as a moniker.
