  1. Would you still say Frazier if we didn’t get the draft picks?
  2. So then the question becomes is McD’s defense too antiquated? If we’re expected to stop the top offenses in the league, should the scheme be changed to something more aggressive and less reliant on a DL that doesn’t often get home?
  3. I’d pick Frazier on account he nets us two 3rd rounders should he become HC. Plus I think his defense is too passive.
  4. Here’s my proposal: the team that wins the coin toss has the option to receive and if they do, they get the ball on their own 1 or 2 yard line. If they elect to kick, the opposition gets the ball on their own 1 or 2 yard line. First score wins the game, regardless if it’s a FG, TD, or safety.
  5. If you look at the players as “hired guns,” then it makes sense the average fan will take the loss harder than the average player. Josh Allen didn’t grow up a Bills fan, he wasn’t born when “wide right” happened and hasn’t had to endure the many devastating losses in this franchise’s history, BUT he’s here now and he’s Bills through and through. With the amount of work that he put into this season, no doubt he feels worse for the fans than himself, while we feel sorrier for ourselves because the joys of celebrating a Super Bowl will have to wait yet again.
  6. I’m sure everyone who posts on this board has taken the loss harder than Star Lotulelei 🤣 I kid. Kinda.
  7. Just saw a replay of the Mahomes TD run where Jerry jumped on the pump fake. Oof. If he just keeps his feet and pursues Mahomes rather than taking himself out of the play, the TD run likely doesn’t happen. Shades of Mario Addison inexplicably diving at Kyler Murray last year before he unloaded the Hail Murray. Going against Allen in practice, they should know to keep their feet.
  8. I fully thought kick it into the endzone, too many weird things could happen otherwise. I didn’t expect the defense to protect the sidelines in a prevent lineup, never challenging the KC receivers. That’s where the game was lost, not the kickoff.
  9. Remember when the D gave up 3rd and 16 in the playoffs against Houston because Frazier called a soft defense? Maybe the coaches don’t learn, he seems content to play back and give up yardage in these crucial situations rather than attack.
  10. LA’s front 7 would’ve given our offense problems. They have tons of speed and power there. They’ll give Mahomes problems too, should that matchup happen. All those times Mahomes simply ran away from our plodding DL, the Rams have the players to catch him. It all hinges on which version of Stafford shows up, but they could definitely win it all. They’ve got enough big names on that squad.
  11. Von Miller, Melvin Ingram, Zack Cunningham. All three were available in season for peanuts or for free. Beane apparently didn’t think they were an upgrade to what we have.
  12. That’s a resounding YES. Miller still has plenty of speed off the edge and we have next to none. I didn’t see the play during the game, but someone had commented that Jerry got stoned by a RB. We have DEs that aren’t overly powerful or fast, none of them strike fear in the QB.
  13. Seems like the timeout was taken for the sake of taking it. If KC truly came out in the same formation, as did the Bills, if you’re Frazier or McD, you tell the DE (Obada) lined up on Kelce’s side to hit him coming off the line. He was the only receiver to that side, shouldn’t have been that tough to cover.
  14. Obada could’ve hit him as well before rushing. Four games we’ve played the Chiefs and in all of them I see Kelce running free off the line down after down. Frazier never calls for a DE or LB jam. It’s sickening how the entire defense was instructed to play back and give KC yards.
  15. I’d like to know what Levi’s responsibility was on the play. Looks like Kelce is the only receiver to his side, if that’s the case he should’ve ran with him after his FREE release off the line.
  16. Beane said his number one priority this past off-season was drafting players who affected the QB. Rousseau and Basham aren’t athletic freaks, so after this game I’m sure he’s thinking “we need more team speed.” Who knows, had they selected Creed Humphrey (10 RAS) in round 2 instead of Basham, maybe the Chiefs don’t make it this far with such an important piece missing from their OL.
  17. Don’t cut him, but I would absolutely try to trade him this off-season. See how other teams value him and what they’d be willing to give. I’m at the point where Klein and Milano on the field offers no significant drop off.
  18. Does any other franchise have more last second gut wrenching losses in the biggest games?
  19. Running prevent D PREVENTS a W every single damn time. Would’ve been okay getting burnt with sending 5, but absolutely don’t allow them easy chunk plays! They only needed a FG, not a TD. Just gut wrenching.
  20. Fully believe had the Bills won that game, they win the Super Bowl. Just an absolute gut wrenching loss and now we have to wait for half a year to start all over. Go Bengals! Go Rams! Anyone but the Chiefs.
  21. This loss wasn’t squarely on Edmunds, but I’m not re-signing him to anything above what Milano makes. Let some other team overpay him, he’s NOT a game changer despite what some of you would like to believe.
  22. Chiefs fans LOVE to see the ball taken out of Allen’s hand.
  23. I don’t ever want to hear that Edmunds takes away the middle again.
  24. If Dane had awareness he would’ve picked that.
  25. Brady still throws one of the prettiest deep balls ever, which we really got to see shine (unfortunately) when he had Randy Moss.
